Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, programming, and operation of your GARAGE STOP Wireless Keyless Entry System. Designed for convenience and security, this keypad allows you to operate your garage door(s) without a traditional remote or key. Please read these instructions carefully before use to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Product Overview
The GARAGE STOP keypad is a wireless keyless entry system that enables you to open and close your garage door(s) using a personalized 4-digit PIN. It features a secure multi-bit code technology, is weatherproof, and includes backlit numeric buttons for easy visibility. This system can control up to 4 separate garage door openers.

Compatibility
This GARAGE STOP keypad (Model M13-631, 104053) is specifically designed to be compatible with Marantec Garage Door Openers operating on a 315 MHz frequency. It is also compatible with Marantec Harrison Martin M3-2312 garage door opener remotes. Ensure your existing garage door opener meets these specifications for proper operation.

Setup and Installation
Wall Installation Instructions
Follow these steps to securely mount your keyless entry system:
- Select a location to mount the Keyless Entry at a minimum height of 5 feet (1.5m) out of the reach of children.
- Use the mounting plate as a template, mark hole locations, and then drill two 1/8 inch (3.2mm) pilot holes.
- Secure the plate to the mounting surface with the (2) screws provided. Do not over-tighten screws to avoid cracking the plastic.
- Cover batteries with the battery cover.
- Snap the Keypad into the mounting plate and secure with the screw provided.
- Install the slide-up protective cover. Align cover slides with slide grooves on the Keypad and slide cover down until it locks.

Programming Instructions
Program PIN and Transfer Transmitter Code
To program your new keypad, follow these steps:
- Install batteries as shown in Figure 4.
- Press and hold the 3 button for at least 3 seconds to activate programming mode. The LED's will light up for 10 seconds.
- Hold the transmitter (your existing Marantec remote) very close to the keypad buttons. Press and hold the transmitter button you use to open and close your garage door. Release the transmitter button when the LED on the keypad flashes.
- Enter a 4-digit personal identification number (PIN) of your choice (e.g., ####).
- Press and release the ENTER button. The LED's and keypad buttons will light up for 2 seconds, signaling that programming is completed.
- Test the Keypad by entering the PIN, then pressing the ENTER button.
NOTE: To program the keypad to more than one garage door opener (maximum 4), repeat the steps above using a new PIN for each additional garage door opener.
Change an Existing PIN
To change your current PIN, follow these steps:
- Press the 1 button for at least 3 seconds. The LED's will flash slowly. Release the button.
- Enter the programmed PIN that you want to change. Press the ENTER button. The LED's will flash rapidly.
- Enter the new 4-digit PIN of your choice (e.g., ####). Then press the ENTER button. The LED's and keypad light up for 2 seconds.
- To test the keypad, enter the new PIN, then press the ENTER button. The garage door opener will activate.

Operating Instructions
Opening/Closing the Garage Door
To operate your garage door, simply enter your 4-digit PIN and press the ENTER button. The garage door operator will activate. The keypad will blink for 28 seconds, during which time the ENTER button can be used to stop, start, or reverse the door.
If an incorrect number is accidentally pressed, correct the PIN then press the ENTER button. The Keyless Entry will transmit only the last four digits.
One-Button-To-Close Feature
The Keyless Entry has a feature that allows the door to be closed using the ENTER button instead of a PIN.
NOTE: This feature is factory-set to active.
To Deactivate the One-Button Close Feature:
- Press the 8 button for 3 seconds. The LED on the keypad will flash slowly.
- Press the ENTER button.
- The keypad LED's will light up for 2 seconds, indicating that the one-button close feature has been deactivated.
To Activate the One-Button Close Feature:
- Press the 9 button for 3 seconds. The LED on the keypad will flash slowly.
- Press the ENTER button.
- The keypad LED's will light up for 2 seconds, indicating that the one-button close feature has been activated.
Battery Replacement
When the keypad's battery is low, the backlight may dim or the keypad may become unresponsive. To replace the batteries:
- Remove the keypad from its wall mount.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the keypad.
- Remove the old AAA batteries.
- Insert new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Reattach the keypad to its wall mount.
Refer to Figure 4 for a visual guide on battery placement.
Clearing Keypad Memory
To clear all programmed PINs and reset the keypad's memory:
- Remove the Wireless Keyless from its wall mounting plate.
- Remove the batteries from the Wireless Keyless.
- Press and hold the ENTER button.
- Install the batteries back. Match polarity designation.
- Release the ENTER button. The LED will flash rapidly approximately 5 seconds.
