Setup

Connecting Speakers

The PT865BT supports a 5.2 channel speaker configuration. Connect your speakers to the corresponding terminals on the rear panel, ensuring correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).

  • Front Left (FL) & Front Right (FR): Main stereo speakers.
  • Center (CEN): Center channel speaker for dialogue.
  • Surround Left (SL) & Surround Right (SR): Rear surround speakers.
  • Subwoofer (SW): Connect your powered subwoofer to the dedicated RCA subwoofer output.

Connecting Audio/Video Sources

  • HDMI: For high-definition audio and video. Use HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 for input. Connect your TV to the HDMI ARC output for audio return.
  • Optical/Coaxial: For digital audio from TVs or other devices.
  • AUX/CD/SW1: For analog audio devices using RCA cables.
  • USB: Insert a USB flash drive into the front panel USB port for media playback.

Bluetooth Pairing

To stream audio wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device:

  1. Turn on the PT865BT receiver.
  2. Select the Bluetooth input mode using the Input Selection buttons on the front panel or remote. The display will show "BLUE".
  3. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and search for available devices.
  4. Select "Pyle PT865BT" from the list.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the Power button on the front panel or remote control.
  • Input Selection: Use the INPUT buttons on the front panel or remote to switch between connected audio/video sources (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, AUX, CD, SW1, Coaxial, Optical, Bluetooth, USB, FM).
  • Volume Control: Rotate the Master Volume knob on the front panel or use the VOL +/- buttons on the remote.

FM Radio Operation

  1. Connect the FM antenna to the FM ANT terminal on the rear panel.
  2. Select the FM input mode.
  3. Use the TUNER +/- buttons on the remote or front panel to scan for radio stations.
  4. Press and hold the TUNER +/- buttons for automatic scanning.

USB Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the front panel USB port.
  2. Select the USB input mode.
  3. Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track) on the remote or front panel to manage your music.

Microphone Usage

  1. Connect up to two 1/4'' microphones to the MIC 1 and MIC 2 inputs on the front panel.
  2. Adjust microphone volume using the dedicated controls (if available) or the main volume.
  3. Use the MIC MENU button to access additional microphone settings like echo or tone control.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Pyle PT865BT receiver, follow these maintenance guidelines:
