1. Introduction

2. Safety Information
To prevent injury or damage to the product, please observe the following safety guidelines:
- Always assemble the cabinet on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Ensure all screws and fasteners are securely tightened before use.
- Do not open more than one drawer at a time. The anti-tilt mechanism is designed to prevent tipping when only one drawer is extended.
- Do not overload drawers. Each drawer has a maximum load capacity of 110 lbs (50 kg). The total weight limit for the cabinet is 330 lbs (150 kg).
- Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
- For wall mounting, use appropriate hardware and consult a professional if unsure.

3. Package Contents

4. Assembly Instructions
Assembly is required for this product. Please follow the steps carefully. An installation video is available for visual guidance.
4.1. Preparation
- Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratching.
- Identify all parts according to the parts list provided in your package.
- Wear the provided gloves for protection during assembly.
4.2. Cabinet Frame Assembly
- Attach the bottom support bar (Part 4) to the two side panels (Parts 2 and 3) using the specified screws (B) and L-brackets (E). Ensure the pre-installed drawer slides on the side panels face inwards.
- Secure the top support bar (Part 5) to the upper section of the side panels using the specified screws (B) and L-brackets (E).
- Attach the back panel (Part 1) to the assembled frame using screws (A). Ensure all connections are firm.
- Attach the top panel (Part 6) to the cabinet frame using screws (A). The lock mechanism should be facing the front.

4.3. Drawer Assembly
- For each drawer, connect the front panel (Part 11) to the side panels (Part 7) and the back panel (Part 8).
- Slide the bottom panel (Part 9) into the grooves of the assembled drawer frame.
- Secure the drawer components using the specified screws (A).
- Install the adjustable hanging rails (Part 10) inside each drawer as needed for file organization.
4.4. Final Assembly
- Extend the drawer slides on the cabinet frame.
- Align the assembled drawers with the slides and gently push them in until they click into place.
- Test each drawer for smooth operation and ensure the anti-tilt mechanism functions correctly.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Locking Mechanism
The cabinet features a single interlock system that secures all three drawers simultaneously. Insert the key into the lock on the top drawer and turn to lock or unlock. Two keys are provided.
5.2. Drawer Operation
The drawers are equipped with precision ball bearing full suspension slides for silent and smooth opening and closing. To open a drawer, pull the humanized handle. To close, gently push the drawer until it is fully recessed. Remember, only one drawer can be opened at a time due to the anti-tilt mechanism.

5.3. File Organization
The adjustable hanging rails inside each drawer allow for versatile file organization. You can easily hang Legal, Letter, or A4 size files. Adjust the rails by sliding them to accommodate different file sizes.

6. Maintenance
Your IKIMI Lateral File Cabinet is crafted from cold-rolled steel with a powder coating surface, making it resistant to rust and scratches, and easy to clean.
