4. Setup and Assembly

Before assembly, ensure all components are present and undamaged. Refer to the included parts list for verification.

4.1 Unpacking and Inspection

  1. Carefully remove all contents from the packaging.
  2. Inspect the saw and all accessories for any shipping damage. Report any damage immediately to the retailer.
  3. Verify that all items listed in the packing list are included.

4.2 Blade Installation

  1. Ensure the saw is unplugged from the power source.
  2. Remove the throat plate and blade guard assembly.
  3. Use the provided wrenches to loosen the arbor nut and remove the outer blade flange.
  4. Place the 8.5-inch 60-tooth carbide-tipped blade onto the arbor, ensuring the teeth are pointing towards the front of the saw.
  5. Reinstall the outer blade flange and arbor nut, tightening securely.
  6. Reattach the blade guard assembly and throat plate.

4.3 Fence and Miter Gauge Setup

  1. Attach the rip fence to the front rail, ensuring it slides smoothly and locks securely.
  2. Calibrate the rip fence to ensure it is parallel to the saw blade.
  3. Insert the miter gauge into the table slot. Adjust the angle for desired cross cuts (0° to 45°).
