4. Setup and Assembly
Before assembly, ensure all components are present and undamaged. Refer to the included parts list for verification.
4.1 Unpacking and Inspection
- Carefully remove all contents from the packaging.
- Inspect the saw and all accessories for any shipping damage. Report any damage immediately to the retailer.
- Verify that all items listed in the packing list are included.

4.2 Blade Installation
- Ensure the saw is unplugged from the power source.
- Remove the throat plate and blade guard assembly.
- Use the provided wrenches to loosen the arbor nut and remove the outer blade flange.
- Place the 8.5-inch 60-tooth carbide-tipped blade onto the arbor, ensuring the teeth are pointing towards the front of the saw.
- Reinstall the outer blade flange and arbor nut, tightening securely.
- Reattach the blade guard assembly and throat plate.

4.3 Fence and Miter Gauge Setup
- Attach the rip fence to the front rail, ensuring it slides smoothly and locks securely.
- Calibrate the rip fence to ensure it is parallel to the saw blade.
- Insert the miter gauge into the table slot. Adjust the angle for desired cross cuts (0° to 45°).

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To turn on the saw, press the green "ON" button.
- To turn off the saw, press the red "OFF" button or engage the emergency off safety cover.
5.2 Adjusting Blade Height and Angle
- Use the blade height adjustment wheel to raise or lower the blade. For most cuts, the blade should extend approximately 1/8 inch above the workpiece.
- Use the bevel adjustment lever to tilt the blade for angled cuts (up to 45°).

5.3 Making Cuts
- Rip Cuts: Use the rip fence to guide the workpiece. Apply steady, even pressure.
- Cross Cuts: Use the miter gauge to guide the workpiece. Ensure the workpiece is firmly against the fence and table.
- Always use a push stick or push block when the workpiece is close to the blade.
- Allow the blade to reach full speed before beginning a cut.
5.4 Dust Collection System
The integrated dust collection system is designed to capture 98.5% of sawdust. Ensure the dust collection hose is properly connected and free of obstructions for optimal performance.
