1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

  • Ensure the appliance is properly grounded.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Placement

  • Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface capable of supporting its weight when full of ice and water.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain at least 6 inches (15 cm) of space from walls or other obstructions.
  • Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
  • The ambient temperature should be between 50°F (10°C) and 90°F (32°C).

4.2 Water Connections

Connect the water inlet and drain hoses as follows:

  1. Connect the water inlet hose to a potable water supply with a pressure between 15-80 PSI.
  2. Connect the drain hose to a suitable drain. Ensure the drain hose has a continuous downward slope to prevent water backup.
  3. Tighten all connections to prevent leaks.

4.3 Electrical Connection

  • Plug the ice maker into a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet. Refer to the product label for specific voltage and amperage requirements.
  • Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.

4.4 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, perform an initial cleaning cycle as described in the "Maintenance" section.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

The ice maker features an intuitive LCD control panel for easy operation.

  • TIMER Button: Activates the timing and cleaning functions.
  • ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
  • + Button: Increases ice thickness.
  • - Button: Reduces ice thickness.
  • LIGHT Button: Controls the internal blue light.
  • LCD Display: Shows current temperature, ice full indicator, low water indicator, and error codes.

5.2 Ice Production

After connecting the water and power, press the ON/OFF button to start ice production. The machine will automatically fill with water and begin the ice-making cycle.

5.3 Adjusting Ice Cube Thickness

Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the control panel to select your desired ice cube thickness:

  • Thin Ice (5-8 minutes): Ideal for quick chilling and delicate drinks.
  • Medium Ice (8-11 minutes): Standard ice for general use.
  • Thick Ice (11-15 minutes): Melts slower, suitable for prolonged cooling or large beverages.

5.4 Ice Storage

The integrated storage bin can hold up to 200 lbs of ice. The machine will automatically stop producing ice when the bin is full and resume when ice levels drop.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ice maker.

6.1 Automatic Cleaning Function

The machine is equipped with an automatic cleaning function. To activate, press the TIMER button and follow the instructions on the LCD display. This function helps maintain hygiene and prevents odor buildup.

6.2 Exterior Cleaning

  • Wipe the exterior stainless steel surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects that could scratch the surface.

6.3 Interior Cleaning and Descaling

  • Periodically clean the ice storage bin and water reservoir with a solution of water and white vinegar or a commercial ice maker cleaner.

6.4 Condenser Cleaning
