Setup

  1. Remove and Fill Water Tank:

    Press the release latch on the water tank and pull it out. Open the cap and fill the tank with distilled or filtered water up to the MAX 1.5L line. Close the cap securely and reinsert the tank into the base until it clicks into place.

  2. Place Iron on Base: Ensure the iron is correctly seated on its base.
  3. Plug In: Insert the power plug into a suitable electrical outlet. The power button on the base will flash green.
  4. Power On: Press and hold the flashing green power button on the base for 2 seconds until it beeps and the light becomes solid. The unit will begin heating up. The steam light on the iron will flash until it reaches the desired temperature, then it will become solid.

Operating Instructions

Traditional Ironing:

  • Once the iron's steam light is solid, press the unlock button on the base to release the iron.
  • Adjust the heat level using the control panel on the base.
  • Use the iron as a traditional dry iron or press the steam button on the iron handle for bursts of steam.

Vertical Steaming:

  • Unlock the iron from the base. The steam hose allows for extended reach.
  • Hold the iron vertically near the fabric (e.g., hanging clothes, curtains).
  • Press the steam button on the iron handle for continuous steam. You can also use the continuous steam knob on the iron for prolonged steaming without holding the button.

Secure Locking System:

To lock the iron to the base for safe transport, simply place the iron onto the base and press the lock button until it clicks. To unlock, press the release button.

Maintenance

Self-Cleaning Function:

The Sundu Pro Steam Station is equipped with a self-cleaning function to prevent limescale buildup and maintain optimal performance. To activate, ensure the water tank is full. Press and hold the self-cleaning button on the base and the steam switch on the iron simultaneously for a few seconds. The unit will initiate a cleaning cycle, expelling steam and impurities. After the cycle, place the iron back on its base.

Anti-Calcium Resin:

The built-in anti-calcium resin effectively prevents limescale, ensuring consistent steam quality and prolonging the life of your appliance.
