To maintain the performance and appearance of your mouse:
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse.
- For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Do not immerse the mouse in water or any liquids.
- Clean the optical sensor periodically with a dry cotton swab to ensure accurate tracking.
5.2 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the mouse in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Mouse Not Responding / No Connection
- Ensure the mouse is turned on and fully charged.
- Verify the Razer HyperPolling Wireless Dongle is securely connected to a USB port on your computer.
- Try connecting the dongle to a different USB port.
- If using the mouse wirelessly, ensure it is within range of the dongle.
- Attempt to re-pair the mouse with the dongle using Razer Synapse (refer to Synapse software guide for specific steps).
- Test the mouse with the USB-C cable in wired mode to determine if the issue is wireless-specific.
6.2 Inaccurate Tracking / Cursor Jumps
- Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.
- Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface. The Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor Gen-2 is designed for various surfaces, including glass, but extreme textures or highly reflective surfaces can affect performance.
- Check and adjust DPI settings in Razer Synapse.
- Disable "Enhance pointer precision" in Windows mouse settings.
6.3 Battery Drains Quickly
- Reduce the polling rate setting in Razer Synapse. Higher polling rates consume more power.
- Ensure the mouse is fully charged before use.
- Check for any background applications or settings that might be keeping the mouse active unnecessarily.
