1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your AOSU 3MP WirelessCam Pro System (2-Cam-Kit) and 5MP SolarCam D1SE. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the products to ensure proper functionality and safety. Note that the SolarCam D1SE operates as a standalone camera and does not connect to the WirelessCam Pro's Homebase.

3. Product Overview

3.1. AOSU WirelessCam Pro System

The WirelessCam Pro System includes two 3MP wireless cameras and a central Homebase. The cameras connect wirelessly to the Homebase, which provides local storage and extends battery life. This system is designed for comprehensive home surveillance.

3.2. AOSU SolarCam D1SE

The SolarCam D1SE is a 5MP standalone wireless camera equipped with a solar panel for continuous charging. It connects directly to your Wi-Fi network and operates independently of the WirelessCam Pro Homebase. This camera is ideal for locations where power outlets are not readily available.

4. Setup Guide

4.1. AOSU App Installation

1. Download the AOSU App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Register for a new account or log in if you already have one.

4.2. WirelessCam Pro System Setup

1. Power On Homebase: Connect the Homebase to a power outlet using the provided USB cable and adapter. Wait for the indicator light to turn solid blue.
2. Connect Homebase to Network: Open the AOSU App, tap '+' to add a new device, and select 'WirelessCam Pro Homebase'. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the Homebase to your Wi-Fi network.
3. Charge Cameras: Fully charge both WirelessCam Pro cameras using the provided USB cables before initial use.
4. Pair Cameras: Once charged, power on the cameras. In the AOSU App, select your Homebase, then tap 'Add Camera'. Follow the prompts to pair each camera with the Homebase.
5. Mount Cameras: Choose suitable locations for your cameras, ensuring good Wi-Fi signal and optimal viewing angles. Use the provided mounting kits to securely install them.

4.3. SolarCam D1SE Setup (Standalone)

1. Charge Camera: Ensure the SolarCam D1SE has sufficient charge before setup. The solar panel will maintain charge after installation.
2. Power On: Press and hold the power button on the D1SE camera until the indicator light flashes.
3. Connect to App: Open the AOSU App, tap '+' to add a new device, and select 'SolarCam D1SE'. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the camera directly to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
4. Mount Camera: Install the SolarCam D1SE in a location that receives ample direct sunlight for the solar panel, and provides a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.

5. Operating Your Cameras

5.1. AOSU App Functions

The AOSU App is your central control panel for both camera systems. Through the app, you can:

• View live streams from all connected cameras.
• Access recorded video footage.
• Adjust motion detection sensitivity and zones.
• Enable/disable notifications.
• Utilize two-way audio communication.
• Manage device settings and firmware updates.

5.2. Motion Detection

Both camera types feature motion detection. When motion is detected, the cameras will record footage and send alerts to your AOSU App. You can customize alert types and schedules within the app settings.

5.3. Video Storage

The WirelessCam Pro System stores footage locally on the Homebase. The SolarCam D1SE typically offers cloud storage options (subscription may be required) and/or local storage via a microSD card (not included).

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

Periodically clean the camera lenses and solar panel (for D1SE) with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality and efficient solar charging. Avoid using harsh chemicals.

6.2. Battery Management

For WirelessCam Pro cameras, monitor battery levels via the AOSU App and recharge as needed. The SolarCam D1SE's solar panel should keep it charged under adequate sunlight; however, in prolonged periods of low light, manual charging via USB may be required.

6.3. Firmware Updates

Regularly check for and install firmware updates through the AOSU App to ensure optimal performance, security, and access to new features.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1. Camera Not Connecting

• Check Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and within range.
• 2.4GHz Network: Both systems require a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for connection.
• D1SE Specific: Remember, the SolarCam D1SE connects directly to your Wi-Fi and does not connect to the WirelessCam Pro Homebase. Attempting to pair it with the Homebase will fail.
• Reboot: Try restarting the camera and your Wi-Fi router.
• Reset: If issues persist, perform a factory reset on the camera (refer to the quick start guide for specific button locations) and attempt setup again.

7.2. Poor Video Quality

• Clean Lens: Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from smudges or dirt.
• Signal Strength: Check the Wi-Fi signal strength in the AOSU App. A weak signal can affect video quality.
• Lighting: Ensure adequate lighting for optimal image capture.

7.3. Battery Draining Quickly

• Motion Events: Frequent motion detection events and live viewing can consume battery faster. Adjust sensitivity settings.
• SolarCam D1SE: Ensure the solar panel receives sufficient direct sunlight daily. Obstructions or cloudy weather can reduce charging efficiency.
• Temperature: Extreme cold temperatures can reduce battery performance.
