1. Introduction

The EGO POWER+ Mini Bike with Peak Power™ technology combines the power of any two EGO POWER+ 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries to deliver quiet acceleration from its powerful hub motor. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your MB1000 Electric Mini Bike.

Key features include top speeds up to 28 MPH, up to 20 miles of range on a single charge (with two 56V 7.5Ah ARC Lithium™ batteries, available separately), and three driving modes (ECO, Normal, and Sport) with parental controls for a customizable riding experience. The mini bike also features a digital display, dual hydraulic disc brakes, front and rear suspension, an onboard storage compartment, LED headlight, and IPX4-rated weather resistance.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: This mini bike is for off-road use only by riders ages 16 and older, up to 220 pounds. Always wear a helmet and gloves for your safety.

• Read and understand all instructions before operating the mini bike.
• Ensure all components are properly assembled and secured before each ride.
• Do not operate the mini bike under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Always maintain a safe distance from other riders and obstacles.
• Regularly inspect the brakes, tires, and battery connections for proper function.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The EGO Power+ MB1000 Mini Bike requires two 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries for operation. To install the batteries:

1. Lift the seat to access the battery compartments.
2. Align the ribs on the battery pack with the mounting slots in the battery compartment.
3. Slide the battery pack into the compartment until it snaps into place. Ensure both batteries are securely seated.
4. Close the seat securely.

4.2 Parental Controls

The mini bike features parental controls to manage the riding experience. Consult the digital display and controls for adjusting speed limits and other settings appropriate for the rider's skill level.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting the Mini Bike

1. Ensure batteries are fully charged and properly installed.
2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the 'ON' position.
3. Press the 'READY' button on the digital display.
4. Select your desired driving mode (ECO, Normal, or Sport) using the controls on the handlebar.
5. Gently twist the throttle to accelerate.

5.2 Driving Modes

• ECO Mode: Provides extended range and reduced top speed for casual riding.
• Normal Mode: Offers a balance of speed and range for general use.
• Sport Mode: Delivers maximum acceleration and top speed (up to 28 MPH) for performance riding.
• Reverse: Available for maneuvering in tight spaces.

5.3 Digital Display

The digital display provides real-time information including speed, acceleration, battery charge level, and selected driving mode. Monitor the display regularly to stay informed about your ride status.

5.4 Braking

The mini bike is equipped with dual hydraulic disc brakes for powerful and responsive stopping performance. Apply both front and rear brakes smoothly and evenly to maintain control.

5.5 Suspension

Front and rear suspension systems are integrated for a comfortable ride across various terrains, absorbing shocks and bumps.

6. Battery Usage & Charging

The EGO Power+ Mini Bike utilizes 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries, known for their advanced technology, intelligent power management, and revolutionary cooling. These batteries are interchangeable with over 100+ EGO Power+ tools.

6.1 Charging Batteries

Use an EGO Power+ charger (sold separately) to charge your 56V ARC Lithium™ batteries. Follow the charger's instructions for safe and efficient charging. Industry-leading recharge times can get you back to use in as little as 25 minutes.

6.2 Onboard Storage

The mini bike includes an onboard storage compartment large enough for an additional battery, allowing you to extend your ride time.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the mini bike with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components. The IPX4-rated weather resistance protects against splashing water, but it is not designed for submersion.

7.2 Tire Care

The off-road tires with aggressive tread are designed for various terrains. Check tire pressure before each ride and maintain recommended levels for optimal performance and safety.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your EGO Power+ Mini Bike, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

• Mini Bike Not Starting: Ensure batteries are fully charged and properly installed. Check that the key is in the 'ON' position and the 'READY' button is pressed.
• Reduced Performance: Verify battery charge levels. Ensure tires are properly inflated. Check for any obstructions in the wheels or motor.
• Unusual Noises: Stop operation immediately and inspect the mini bike for any loose or damaged parts. Contact customer support if the issue persists.
