4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have a second person assist with certain steps.

  1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a soft, clean surface and compare them against the package contents list to ensure everything is present.
  2. Attach Wheels: Secure the four swivel wheels to the base frame of the cart. Ensure that the two wheels with locking mechanisms are positioned on the same side for easier access. Tighten all screws firmly.
  3. Assemble Frame: Connect the vertical metal frame components according to the diagrams provided in the included paper manual. Ensure all connections are aligned correctly before tightening screws.
  4. Install Shelves: Place the three engineered wood shelves onto their designated positions within the metal frame. The marble-patterned side should face upwards. Secure each shelf using the provided hardware.
  5. Attach Wine Glass Racks: The bar cart includes three removable wine glass racks. These can be attached to the underside of the top or middle shelf as desired. Position them to allow sufficient clearance for your glassware.
  6. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, re-check and tighten all screws to ensure the cart is stable and secure.

  • Locking Wheels: To keep the cart stationary, press down on the locking levers on the two designated wheels until they click into place. To unlock, lift the levers.
  • Using Wine Glass Racks: Hang wine glasses upside down in the designated slots of the removable racks. Ensure glasses are securely seated before moving the cart.
  • Weight Distribution: Distribute items evenly across the shelves to maintain stability. Avoid placing heavy items solely on one side or one shelf.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame and engineered wood shelves with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish.
  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten any loose fasteners to maintain the cart's structural integrity.
  • Avoid Excessive Moisture: While the shelves are easy to clean, prolonged exposure to moisture should be avoided to prevent damage to the engineered wood.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Cart Wobbles: If the cart feels unstable, check that all screws are fully tightened. Ensure the cart is placed on a level surface. If a shelf wobbles, verify that its support points are evenly seated.
  • Difficulty Moving: Ensure the wheel locks are disengaged. Check wheels for any obstructions or debris that might hinder movement.
  • Missing or Damaged Parts: If you discover any missing or damaged parts during assembly, do not proceed. Contact VASAGLE customer support immediately for assistance.
