5. Setup

5.1. Assembling the Wooden Stand and Pedals

  1. Unpack all components of the wooden stand and pedals.
  2. Follow the included assembly instructions for the stand. Ensure all screws are securely tightened.
  3. Connect the pedal unit cable from the stand to the designated pedal-unit jack on the rear of the NPK-20 digital piano.

5.2. Placing the Digital Piano

  1. Carefully place the NPK-20 digital piano onto the assembled wooden stand. Ensure it is seated correctly and securely.
  2. Attach the music rest to the designated slot on the piano.

5.3. Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN jack on the rear of the piano.

  • Reverb: Choose from 4 reverb types (Hall, Plate, Room, Studio) to add spatial depth to your sound. Adjust parameters like pre-delay and decay time.
  • Compressor: Apply one of 4 compressor types (Soft, R&B, Lyric Piano, Standard Piano) to control the dynamic range of your playing.
  • Chorus & Delay: Utilize 4-parameter chorus and 4-parameter delay effects to enrich your sound.
  • 9-Band EQ: Fine-tune your sound with the built-in 9-band equalizer. Custom settings can be saved.
  • Looping: Record and loop your playing to create layered performances or practice with accompaniment.
  • Drum Machine: The NPK-20 can function as a drum machine, providing rhythmic accompaniment.
