3. Setup

Before first use, wash all components that will come into contact with food in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. The pints, outer bowl, lid, and paddle are top-rack dishwasher safe.

Assembly Steps:

1. Prepare Your Base: Create your desired ice cream, sorbet, or frozen yogurt base. Pour the mixture into a Deluxe CREAMi Pint. Do not fill past the MAX FILL line.
2. Freeze: Place the pint in a freezer set to -18°C (0°F) for at least 24 hours. For best results, ensure the freezer is at the optimal temperature.
3. Assemble:
   • Place the frozen pint into the Outer Bowl.
   • Install the Creamerizer Paddle onto the outer bowl lid. Ensure it clicks into place.
   • Place the outer bowl lid onto the outer bowl, aligning the arrow on the lid with the handle. Turn the lid clockwise to lock it.
   • Place the assembled outer bowl onto the motor base, aligning the arrow on the outer bowl with the arrow on the motor base. Turn the outer bowl handle clockwise to raise the platform and lock it into place.

4. Operating Instructions

Once the unit is assembled and the base is frozen, you are ready to create your frozen treats.

Processing Your Treat:

1. Ensure the unit is plugged in. The power button will illuminate.
2. Select your desired program from the 10 available functions. The machine will automatically process the frozen base.
3. Once the program is complete, remove the outer bowl assembly by turning the handle counter-clockwise.
4. Remove the pint from the outer bowl and check the texture.

Understanding Programs:

Re-Spin Function:

If your processed treat is crumbly or powdery, use the RE-SPIN function. This will re-process the mixture to achieve a smoother, creamier consistency. This is common for very cold or low-fat bases.

Two Flavors in One:

To create two distinct flavors in a single pint:

1. Prepare your base and freeze it as usual.
2. Process the entire pint using your desired program.
3. Scoop out half of the processed treat from the pint.
4. Add your desired mix-ins or flavorings to the remaining half in the pint.
5. Select the 'TOP' or 'BOTTOM' setting on the control panel, depending on where you added the new flavor, and run the MIX-IN program. This will only process that specific section of the pint.

Dishwasher Cleaning:

The Deluxe CREAMi Pints, storage lids, outer bowl, outer bowl lid, and Creamerizer Paddle are all top-rack dishwasher safe.

Hand Washing:

Wash the pints, lids, outer bowl, and paddle in warm, soapy water. Use a cleaning brush to remove any sticky residue from the paddle. Rinse thoroughly and air dry.

Motor Base Cleaning:

Wipe the motor base with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water or spray it with water. Do not use abrasive cloths, pads, or cleaners to clean the motor base.
