1. Introduction

The Like Star R1s is a versatile 3-in-1 device designed to enhance your mobile photography and videography experience. It functions as a selfie stick, a stable tripod stand, and a convenient mobile holder. Equipped with an integrated Bluetooth remote control and a fill light, the R1s is suitable for various applications including taking selfies, group photos, vlogging, live streaming, and video calls.

4. Setup Guide

4.1. Installing Batteries (Remote Control)

1. Locate the battery compartment on the side or back of the wireless Bluetooth remote control.
2. Open the compartment cover.
3. Insert the two CR1632 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2. Charging the Fill Light (If Applicable)

If your R1s model includes a rechargeable fill light, connect the provided charger to the charging port on the light. A charging indicator light will typically show when charging is in progress and when it is complete. Refer to the specific instructions for the fill light if provided separately.

4.3. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Power On Remote: Press and hold the button on the Bluetooth remote control until an indicator light (usually blue) starts blinking, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. Activate Bluetooth on Phone: Go to your smartphone's settings and enable Bluetooth.
3. Search for Device: In the Bluetooth settings, search for available devices. The remote should appear as "R1S" or a similar name.
4. Connect: Select "R1S" from the list to pair. The indicator light on the remote will typically stop blinking and remain solid once successfully paired.
5. Once paired, the remote will automatically connect to your phone when both are powered on and within range.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Attaching Your Smartphone

1. Gently pull open the phone holder clamp.
2. Carefully insert your smartphone into the clamp, ensuring it is securely held. The holder supports phones up to 3.3 inches (approximately 90mm) wide.
3. The phone holder can rotate 360 degrees, allowing you to switch between horizontal (landscape) and vertical (portrait) camera modes.
4. The adjustable head allows for a 225-degree tilt, enabling you to find the perfect shooting angle.

5.2. Using as a Selfie Stick

1. Ensure the tripod legs are folded and secured into the handle.
2. Extend the telescopic rod to your desired length. The stick extends from 7.5 inches (19 cm) to 20.5 inches (52 cm).
3. Hold the handle firmly and position your phone for the shot.
4. Press the button on the Bluetooth remote control to capture photos or start/stop video recording.

5.3. Using as a Tripod Stand

1. From the folded position, gently pull down the bottom part of the handle to deploy the integrated tripod legs. Ensure they are fully extended and stable.
2. Place the tripod on a flat, stable surface.
3. Extend the telescopic rod to the desired height. For maximum stability, especially with heavier phones, keep the rod at a lower extension.
4. Ensure the phone's center of gravity is parallel to the selfie stick's center of gravity for optimal balance.
5. Use the Bluetooth remote control to take photos or videos remotely, ideal for group shots or stable long exposures.

5.4. Using the Fill Light

The R1s features an integrated fill light to improve lighting conditions for your photos and videos.

• Locate the power button for the fill light, usually on the light module itself.
• Press the button to turn the light on. Multiple presses may cycle through different brightness levels or light modes (if available).
• Press and hold the button to turn the light off.

6. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Wipe the selfie stick with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use, fold the selfie stick compactly and store it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Replacement: If the Bluetooth remote control becomes unresponsive, replace the CR1632 batteries as described in the Setup section.
• Avoid Over-extension: Do not force the telescopic rod beyond its maximum extension limit.
• Water Exposure: The device is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.
