LG 10 Kg Vivace Washing Machine with AI DD Technology

User Manual

1. Introduction

This user manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your new LG 10 Kg Vivace Washing Machine. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance to ensure proper installation, usage, and maintenance. Retain this manual for future reference.

Your LG Vivace washing machine features AI DD™ technology, which intelligently detects the weight and fabric softness to optimize washing motions, providing enhanced fabric protection and cleaning performance.

2. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the performance and safety of your washing machine. Ensure the appliance is installed on a firm, level surface and connected to appropriate water and power supplies.

2.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials, including the polystyrene base and any protective film. Inspect the machine for any transit damage. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.

2.2 Removing Transit Bolts

Before operation, all transit bolts located at the rear of the machine must be removed. These bolts secure the drum during transport and must be taken out to prevent damage during operation.

2.3 Leveling the Machine

Use a spirit level to ensure the machine is perfectly level. Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the machine as needed. A level machine reduces vibration and noise during operation.

2.4 Water and Drain Connections

Connect the water inlet hoses to the hot and cold water taps (if applicable) and to the corresponding inlets on the back of the machine. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. Position the drain hose securely into a standpipe or sink, ensuring it is not kinked.

2.5 Electrical Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage and frequency match the specifications listed on the machine's rating label.

Note: It is recommended to have installation performed by a qualified technician.

Periodically remove and clean the detergent dispenser drawer to prevent detergent buildup and mold. Rinse it under running water and use a brush if necessary. Dry thoroughly before reinserting.

4.2 Cleaning the Drum and Door Seal

After each wash, wipe the door seal and glass to remove any lint or residue. Run a 'Tub Clean' cycle (if available on your model) regularly to clean the inside of the drum and prevent odors.

4.3 Cleaning the Drain Pump Filter

Locate the drain pump filter access panel at the bottom front of the machine. Open the panel, place a shallow container underneath to catch any water, and slowly unscrew the filter. Clean any lint or debris from the filter and housing. Reinsert and secure the filter and panel.

Wipe the exterior surfaces of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
