Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse surface. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish or internal components.
  • Cable Care: Do not excessively bend, twist, or pull the USB cable to prevent internal wire damage and ensure consistent connectivity.
  • Storage: Store the mouse in a clean, dry environment away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight when not in use.

Troubleshooting

Mouse Not Responding

  • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to a working USB port on your computer.
  • Try connecting the mouse to a different USB port on your computer to rule out a faulty port.
  • Restart your computer. This can often resolve minor software glitches.
  • Test the mouse on another computer to determine if the issue is with the mouse itself or your primary computer's setup.

Inaccurate Tracking or Cursor Jumps

  • Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust or debris.
  • Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (e.g., a mouse pad). Avoid highly reflective, transparent, or uneven surfaces that can interfere with optical tracking.
  • Adjust the DPI setting to a lower value if the cursor is too sensitive or erratic.
