Setup Instructions
1. Unpacking
- Carefully remove all packaging materials, including foam and tape.
- Inspect the appliance for any shipping damage. Report any damage immediately to the retailer.
- Remove all internal packing materials, including shelves and any protective films.
2. Placement
- Place the wine cooler on a flat, stable, and level surface capable of supporting its weight when fully loaded.
- Ensure adequate air circulation around the unit. Allow at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of space at the back and sides, and 10 inches (25.4 cm) at the top.
- Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources (e.g., ovens, radiators).
- Do not install in areas with extreme ambient temperatures. The optimal ambient temperature range for operation is 60-80°F (16-27°C).
3. Leveling the Appliance
It is crucial for the wine cooler to be level to ensure proper operation and minimize noise. The unit is equipped with adjustable leveling feet.
- Turn the leveling feet clockwise to raise the unit or counter-clockwise to lower it.
- Use a level to ensure the appliance is perfectly balanced.
4. Initial Power-On
After placement and leveling, allow the appliance to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it into a power outlet. This allows the cooling system fluids to settle, preventing potential malfunctions.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Exterior: Clean the exterior with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Interior: Unplug the unit before cleaning. Remove shelves and clean the interior with a solution of baking soda and warm water (2 tablespoons baking soda to 1 quart water). Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
- Door Seal: Clean the door gasket regularly to ensure a proper seal.
2. Defrosting
This appliance features manual defrost. Frost buildup on the interior back wall is normal. When frost accumulation exceeds 1/4 inch (0.6 cm), manually defrost the unit:
- Remove all bottles and unplug the unit.
- Leave the door ajar to allow frost to melt naturally. Place towels at the bottom to absorb water.
- Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to speed up defrosting, as this can damage the cooling system.
- Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging the unit back in.
3. Power Outage
In case of a power outage, the wine cooler will generally maintain its temperature for several hours if the door remains closed. Avoid opening the door unnecessarily during an outage.
