1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Govee Smart LED Light Bars (Model H6043). These RGBIC Wi-Fi light bars are designed to enhance your viewing experience with dynamic lighting effects, music synchronization, and smart control capabilities.

3. Features

• Upgraded Design: Each light bar features 41 high-density beads in a 215° ultra-wide curved array, doubling brightness and extending illumination range by 100% with precision optical lenses.
• Immersive RGBIC Ambiance: Offers over 35 scene modes for various moods and occasions. One-tap TV sync via the Govee Home App provides a convenient and comfortable lighting experience.
• Live Music Sync: A built-in microphone allows the TV LED backlights to synchronize with music, transforming audio into vivid light shows.

4. Setup & Installation

4.1. Assembling the Light Bars

1. Take out the connecting wire by pulling the paper out from the light bar.
2. Insert the connecting cable into the other section of the light bar and firmly snap the light bar into place.
3. Pass the light bar's cord through the hole in the base.
4. Plug the light bar into the base and straighten the cord.
5. Tighten the silicone plug to secure the light bar to the base.
6. Connect the light bars to the control box and switch on the power.

4.2. Placement Options

The Govee Smart LED Light Bars offer flexible placement to suit your setup:

• Tabletop Stand: Use the provided bases to stand the light bars upright on a TV cabinet or other flat surface.
• Behind TV Mounting: For an immersive backlight effect, attach the light bars to the back of your TV using the mounting brackets.

For Behind TV Mounting:

1. Wipe the back of the TV to keep it clean before installing.
2. Adjust the tightness of the screws on the bracket pivot as needed.
3. Plug the silicone plug into the bracket.
4. Loosen the knob on the side, fit the light bars into the bracket and tighten the knob.
5. Ensure the most prominent point of the TV is more than 2.37 inches (6cm) away from the wall so that the light bar can be placed and mounted.
6. Determine where to attach the light bars with the screw knob facing the outside of the TV for easy subsequent adjustment of angle and tightness.
7. Once in place, press the clips for 10 seconds to reinforce the adhesive backing. It is recommended that you wait 24 hours before attaching the light bars to the TV to ensure the clips are secure.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Govee Home App Control

The Govee Home App provides full control over your light bars, including scene modes, music sync, brightness adjustment, and custom DIY effects.

1. Download the Govee Home App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
3. Open the Govee Home App, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
4. Search for "H6043" and select it.
5. Follow the in-app instructions to pair the device and connect to your Wi-Fi network.
6. Once connected, you can access various customizable modes and functions.

5.2. Voice Control (Alexa & Google Assistant)

The Govee Smart LED Light Bars are compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for convenient voice control.

1. Ensure your Govee device is successfully connected to the Govee Home App.
2. Open the Govee Home App, navigate to the device settings, and select "Alexa" or "Google Assistant" under the User Guide section.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to link your Govee Home account with your Amazon or Google account.
4. Once linked, you can use voice commands such as:
   • "Alexa, turn on the TV light bar."
   • "Hey Google, set the TV light bar to purple."
   • "Alexa, dim the TV light bar to 50%."

6. Maintenance

• Keep the light bars clean by wiping them with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the surface.
• Ensure the light bars are disconnected from power before cleaning.
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures or humidity.

7. Troubleshooting

• Light bars not turning on: Check all power connections. Ensure the adapter is securely plugged into a working outlet and the control box.
• Cannot connect to Wi-Fi: Verify your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz network during setup. Restart your router and try again.
• Voice control not working: Confirm that your Govee Home account is correctly linked to Alexa or Google Assistant. Check your internet connection and ensure the voice assistant device is online.
• Lights are dim or inconsistent: Adjust brightness settings in the Govee Home App. Ensure the light bars are not obstructed.
• RGBIC light bars do not include cool white and warm white lighting effects. This is a design feature, not a malfunction.
