1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your VEVOR Commercial Ice Maker (Model SSX120). Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use, and retain it for future reference.
The VEVOR Commercial Ice Maker is designed for light commercial use, capable of producing up to 130 lbs (59 kg) of ice per day with a storage capacity of 33 lbs (15 kg). It features an LED digital display for easy control and a self-cleaning function for convenient maintenance.
2. Safety Instructions
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, follow these basic precautions:
- Ensure the ice maker is placed on a stable, level surface.
- Keep the appliance upright for at least 24 hours after delivery before plugging it in to allow refrigerant fluids to settle.
- Connect to a properly grounded outlet only.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug.
- Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or the appliance itself in water or other liquids.
- Supervise children when the appliance is in use.
- Do not use the appliance for purposes other than its intended use.
- Disconnect from power supply before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.
- Remove the protective film from the stainless steel body before use.

4. Setup and Installation
Proper setup is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of your ice maker.
4.1 Unpacking and Initial Preparation
Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. It is double-boxed for protection during transit. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective film from the stainless steel surfaces.

Important: After receiving the ice maker, keep it upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant fluid to settle, preventing potential damage to the compressor.
4.2 Water Connection
The ice maker requires a continuous water supply. Connect the provided water inlet pipe to a 1/4-inch water line valve or a suitable faucet adapter. The unit includes a built-in water filter to ensure clean ice production.

Connect the drainage hose to the outlet port on the back of the machine. Ensure the drainage hose is routed to a suitable drain or collection bucket, positioned lower than the unit for proper gravity drainage. The built-in electric drainage pump assists in efficient water removal.
4.3 Power Connection
Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. Refer to the specifications for voltage requirements.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Control Panel Overview
The ice maker features an intuitive LED digital display and mechanical buttons for control.

- Power Button: Turns the ice maker on/off.
- Reservation Button: Schedules automatic on/off times.
- Clean Button: Initiates the self-cleaning cycle.
- Light Button: Toggles the blue interior light.
- '+' and '-' Buttons: Adjust ice making time (thickness) and reservation settings.
- LED Display: Shows ambient temperature, return air temperature, and ice-making time.
- Indicators: Lights for "ice full", "stoppage", "ice making", "reservation", and "clean".
5.2 Making Ice
- Ensure the water supply is connected and turned on.
- Press the Power Button to turn on the ice maker.
- Adjust the ice making time using the '+' and '-' buttons. A longer time results in thicker ice cubes. The display shows the adjusted time.
- The machine will automatically begin the ice-making cycle. Ice cubes will be produced and dropped into the storage bin.
- When the ice bin is full, the "ice full" indicator will light up, and the machine will automatically stop production.
- Use the provided ice scoop to retrieve ice. The ice scoop can be conveniently hung inside the ice storage compartment.

To store more ice cubes, break up the ice sheets and flatten them in the storage bin as much as possible.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your ice maker.
6.1 Self-Cleaning Function
The ice maker is equipped with a one-touch self-cleaning function.
- Ensure the machine is connected to the water supply.
- Press and hold the "Clean" button for 3 seconds to activate the self-cleaning mode.
- The machine will automatically run water through its system to clean internal components.
- Once the cycle is complete, the machine will return to standby mode.

6.2 Manual Cleaning and Drainage
For thorough cleaning or when storing the machine, manual drainage is necessary.
- Unplug the ice maker from the power outlet.
- Locate the drain plug (usually a blue cap) inside the ice storage bin or at the bottom of the water reservoir.
- Remove the drain plug to allow all water to drain out through the drainage hose.
- Clean the interior surfaces of the ice storage bin and ice-making components with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Replace the drain plug securely before next use.
The water filter should be checked periodically and replaced as needed to ensure optimal water quality and prevent pump clogging.
