2. Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Please observe the following warnings and precautions:

  • Weather Conditions: Do not leave the gazebo erected in windy or adverse weather conditions, including heavy rain, snow, or strong winds. Disassemble or secure the gazebo immediately to prevent damage or injury.
  • Anchoring: Always use the provided eight stakes to securely mount the gazebo to a soft surface. For hard surfaces, consider additional anchoring methods (not included) to ensure stability.
  • Assembly: Assembly should be performed by at least two adults. Ensure all parts are correctly aligned and tightened before use.
  • Fire Hazard: Keep all flame and heat sources away from the gazebo fabric. The fabric is not fireproof.
  • Structural Integrity: Do not hang heavy objects from the frame or canopy. Avoid climbing on the gazebo structure.
  • Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the assembly area. Do not allow them to play unsupervised around the erected gazebo.

3. Setup and Assembly

Before assembly, ensure you have all components listed in the packing list. Lay out all parts on a clean, flat surface. Assembly typically requires two people.

3.1. Unpacking and Part Identification

Carefully unpack all components. Verify that all parts are present and undamaged by comparing them with the parts list provided in your packaging. Separate similar parts to avoid confusion during assembly.

3.2. Frame Assembly

  1. Begin by assembling the base frame. Connect the horizontal bars to the vertical corner posts, ensuring the decorative tree motifs on the corner frames are correctly oriented.
  2. Attach the roof support beams to the top of the corner posts. Ensure all connections are secure and tightened.
  3. Assemble the two-tier vented canopy frame. This allows for better airflow and helps redirect wind.

3.3. Canopy and Netting Installation

  1. Carefully drape the main canopy fabric over the assembled roof frame. Ensure the fabric is evenly spread and secured to all corners and support points. The canopy is made of 180 g/m² polyester fabric with a PA coating for water resistance.
  2. Install the smaller top canopy onto the upper tier of the roof frame.
  3. Attach the four mesh netting sidewalls to the frame. These sidewalls provide protection from insects and can be tied back for an open-air feel.

4. Operating Guidelines

The Outsunny gazebo is designed to provide a comfortable shaded area for various outdoor activities.

  • Netting Use: The protective mesh netting sidewalls can be zipped closed to keep insects out while allowing air circulation. For an open-air feel, the netting can be tied back to the corner posts.
  • Sun Protection: The PA coating on the canopy fabric provides effective sun protection, making it ideal for sunny days.
  • Ventilation: The two-tier vented canopy design promotes airflow, helping to keep the area underneath cool and comfortable.

5. Care and Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life of your gazebo.

  • Cleaning: Clean the canopy fabric and netting with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the fabric or coating. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
  • Frame Care: The steel frame is powder-coated for rust resistance. Wipe down the frame with a damp cloth as needed. Inspect the frame periodically for any signs of rust or damage.
  • Seasonal Storage: For prolonged periods of non-use or during harsh weather seasons, it is recommended to disassemble the gazebo and store it in a dry, protected area. This will prevent premature wear and tear.
  • Grommets: Ensure the grommets on the canopy are clear of debris to allow for proper water drainage.

6. Troubleshooting

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:

  • Gazebo Instability: Ensure all frame connections are securely tightened. Verify that the gazebo is properly anchored to the ground using all eight included stakes. If on a hard surface, consider using sandbags or weights (not included) for additional stability.
  • Canopy Sagging/Water Accumulation: Check that the canopy is stretched tautly across the frame. Ensure the grommets on the canopy are not blocked, allowing water to drain. If sagging persists, verify the frame is assembled correctly and not bent.
  • Netting Not Closing Properly: Check for any obstructions in the zippers or if the netting is caught on the frame. Ensure the netting is properly aligned and attached to the frame.
  • Missing or Damaged Parts: If you find any missing or damaged parts upon unpacking, please contact customer support immediately for assistance.
