4. Setup

4.1 Connecting Peripherals

  1. Connect Keyboard and Mouse: Plug the USB cables of the HP Wired Desktop 320K Keyboard and HP 125 Wired Mouse into any available SuperSpeed USB Type-A ports on the front or rear of the computer.
  2. Connect Display(s): Connect your monitor(s) to the DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 outputs on the rear panel using appropriate cables. The system supports multiple displays.
  3. Connect to Network (Optional): For a wired connection, plug an Ethernet cable into the RJ-45 port on the rear panel. For wireless, ensure your Wi-Fi network is available during initial setup.
  4. Connect Power: Connect the external power adapter to the power connector on the rear of the computer, then plug the power cord into a wall outlet.

4.2 First Boot

Press the power button on the front panel. The computer will power on and begin the initial Windows 11 Pro setup process. Follow the on-screen prompts to configure your operating system, including language, region, network settings, and user accounts.

5. Operating Your Computer

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press the power button on the front panel.
  • To Shut Down: Click the Start button in Windows, then select Power > Shut down.
  • To Restart: Click the Start button in Windows, then select Power > Restart.
  • To Sleep: Click the Start button in Windows, then select Power > Sleep.

5.2 Network Connectivity

  • Wired (Ethernet): Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port on the rear panel.
  • Wireless (Wi-Fi 6): The Realtek RTL8852BE Wi-Fi 6 (2x2) module provides high-speed wireless connectivity. Access Wi-Fi settings via the Windows taskbar network icon.
  • Bluetooth: Integrated Bluetooth allows connection to wireless peripherals such as headphones, speakers, or other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Manage Bluetooth devices through Windows Settings.

The computer features multiple SuperSpeed USB Type-A and Type-C ports for connecting external devices like USB drives, printers, and other peripherals. The front USB Type-A port with charging capability can be used to quickly charge compatible devices.
