Maintenance and Care

  • Charging Practices: Always use the specified charger (AC 100-240V DC 12.6V 1000MA) for charging. Overcharging or using an incompatible charger can damage the battery and void the warranty.
  • Battery Level: Charge the battery promptly when the power indicator shows a low level to prevent deep discharge, which can reduce battery lifespan.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to store the battery with a partial charge (around 50%) rather than fully charged or fully depleted.
  • Cleaning: Keep the battery box and its ports clean and free from dust or debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Avoid using liquid cleaners.
  • Handling: Handle the battery box with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts, which can damage internal components.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your JQKJCAM Sewer Camera Battery, consider the following general troubleshooting steps:

  • Battery Not Charging:
    • Ensure the charger is properly connected to both the battery box and a working power outlet.
    • Verify that the charger's indicator light (if any) is on.
    • Check for any visible damage to the charging cable or port.
  • Short Operating Time:
    • Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
    • Operating time can vary based on usage intensity (e.g., continuous LED light use).
    • Battery capacity naturally degrades over time with repeated charge cycles.
  • No Power Output:
    • Confirm the 'ON/OFF' switch is in the ON position.
    • Check the battery indicator lights to ensure there is sufficient charge.
    • Verify all connections to the sewer camera system are secure and correct.

If problems persist, please refer to the Warranty and Support section for further assistance.
