4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the feeder.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 C-type (No. 2) alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Important: Do not use rechargeable or expired batteries, as they may not provide the correct current for proper operation.

4.2 Mounting the Feeder
The feeder is designed to be mounted on the edge of a pond (e.g., wooden or stone ground). Tools such as drills and screwdrivers may be required.
- Determine a stable and level location near your pond where the feeder can dispense food directly into the water.
- If fixing to the ground, attach the provided fixing strips to the bottom of the feeder using the screws.
- Secure the feeder to the chosen surface using appropriate fasteners (not always included, depending on surface type).
4.3 Filling the Food Container
- Open the top cover of the feeder by rotating it in the direction of the arrow until it unlocks.
- Before filling, it is recommended to clean the transparent food bucket and the dispensing drum.
- Carefully pour granular fish food into the transparent bucket. Ensure the food diameter is between 2mm and 9mm (max 15mm).
- Close the top cover by aligning it and rotating it in the opposite direction of the arrow until it locks securely.
5. Operation
5.1 Control Panel Overview
The feeder features an LCD display and control buttons for programming. Refer to Image 5.1 for button layout.
- DAY: Used to set the number of days for feed reminders.
- VOLME: Enters the portion setting key.
- CLOCK: Clock setting. Use with TIMER key to set local time.
- VOLUME+SET: Press both keys for manual feeding mode.
- TIMER: Clock and feeding time setting. In clock state, used to set the clock. In feeding time setting state, used to set the feeding time of each meal.
- START: Used to set the clock, feeding time, and portion size. Confirms and saves the program.
- SET: Used with DAY, CLOCK, TIMER, VOL buttons to enter each function setting mode.
- LOWBATT: Low voltage indication. A red light flashes when battery voltage is insufficient; replace batteries promptly.

5.2 Setting Time and Date
- Press the CLOCK button. The time display will start flashing.
- Use the TIMER button to adjust the hour.
- Press CLOCK again to move to minutes, then use TIMER to adjust.
- Press START to confirm and save the current time.
- Use the DAY button to set the current day if applicable for reminders.
5.3 Programming Feeding Times and Portions
The feeder allows for up to 4 feeding times per day with adjustable portion sizes.
- Press the TIMER button to enter feeding time setting mode. The first feeding time will flash.
- Use the TIMER button to adjust the hour for the first feed.
- Press TIMER again to move to minutes, then use TIMER to adjust.
- Press VOLME to set the portion size for this feed (levels 1-6).
- Press TIMER to move to the next feeding time slot (up to 4). Repeat steps 2-4 for each desired feeding time.
- After setting all desired feeding times and portions, press START to confirm and save the program.
5.4 Manual Feeding
To dispense food manually at any time:
- Press and hold the VOLUME+SET buttons simultaneously. The feeder will dispense a single portion of food.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and prevents food blockages.
- Turn off the feeder and remove any remaining fish food.
- Open the top cover and remove the transparent food bucket.
- Clean the food bucket and the dispensing drum thoroughly. Hand washing only is recommended.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and refilling with food.
6.2 Battery Replacement
When the LOWBATT indicator flashes red, the battery voltage is low and requires replacement.
- Open the battery compartment.
- Remove the old batteries.
- Insert 4 new C-type (No. 2) alkaline batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
7. Troubleshooting
