Maintenance

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote control becomes unresponsive or its range decreases. Always replace both AAA batteries simultaneously with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Cleaning

To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

Storage

When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage, which can damage the remote control. Store the remote in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

  • Remote control is not working:
    • Ensure batteries are installed correctly with the correct polarity (+/-).
    • Replace old batteries with new AAA batteries.
    • Check for any obstructions between the remote control and the TV's infrared sensor.
    • Ensure you are within the effective range and pointing the remote directly at the TV.
  • Some buttons are not responding:
    • This remote is designed for specific Dansat TV models. Verify your TV model is listed as compatible.
    • Clean the remote control, especially around the unresponsive buttons, to remove any dirt or debris.
    • If only specific advanced functions are not working, your TV model might not support that particular function, or it may require a different menu context.
