- Do not connect the positive (+) and negative (-) clamps together.

- The unit features spark-proof and reverse polarity protection. However, always ensure correct connection to battery terminals.
Setup: Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the Battery Tender Jump Starter.
- Locate the USB-C input port on the jump starter unit.
- Connect the provided Micro USB / Type C charging cable to the jump starter.
- Connect the other end of the charging cable to a USB wall adapter (not included) or a powered USB port.
- The LED indicators on the unit will illuminate to show charging progress. All LEDs will be solid when fully charged.
- Charging typically takes a few hours. It is recommended to fully charge the unit every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.

Operating Instructions
Jump Starting a Vehicle
Ensure the jump starter is fully charged before attempting to jump start a vehicle.
- Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories (lights, radio, etc.).
- Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black negative (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery.

- Once connected, the jump starter will perform a safety check. If the connection is correct, the "Ready to Jump Start" indicator will illuminate.
- Start the vehicle's engine. If the engine does not start on the first attempt, wait at least 30 seconds before trying again. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds per attempt.
- Once the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the black negative (-) clamp first, then the red positive (+) clamp.
- Store the jump starter and cables in the provided carrying case.

Using as a Portable Power Bank
The jump starter features multiple USB output ports for charging electronic devices.
- Connect your device's USB charging cable to one of the jump starter's USB output ports (USB 2.4 AMP or USB 2 AMP quick charging ports, or USB-C).
- The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.
- Monitor your device's charging status.
Using the LED Flashlight
The integrated LED flashlight provides illumination in low-light conditions and includes an SOS strobe function.
- Press and hold the power button on the unit to turn on the flashlight.
- Press the power button again to cycle through different light modes (e.g., solid, strobe, SOS).
- Press and hold the power button again to turn off the flashlight.
Maintenance
- Keep the unit clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth if necessary.
- Store the jump starter in its soft carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Recharge the unit every 3-6 months, even if not used, to maintain optimal battery life and readiness.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the unit.
