1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Acosure Twin XL/Full XL/Queen Triple Bunk Bed. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new bunk bed. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly and retain this manual for future reference.

1.1 Safety Information

  • Adult Supervision: Always supervise children around the bed to prevent entrapment or pinch injuries.
  • Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity for each bed level: Twin XL (top): 200 lbs, Full XL (middle): 250 lbs, Queen (bottom): 350 lbs. Exceeding these limits may compromise stability and safety.
  • Assembly: Follow the assembly instructions precisely. Incorrect assembly can lead to structural instability and potential injury. Ensure all bolts and connectors are securely tightened.
  • Guardrails: The top and middle bunks are equipped with full-length guardrails. Ensure they are always properly installed and secured to prevent falls.
  • Mattress Thickness: Recommended mattress thickness for the upper and middle beds is 6 inches. For the bottom bed, the recommended mattress thickness is 8 inches. Ensure the mattress does not exceed the guardrail height.
  • Ladder Safety: Always use the provided ladders for accessing the upper and middle bunks. Do not jump on or off the bunks.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the bed.
  • Regular Checks: Periodically check all connections and hardware to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary.

5. Maintenance

  • Hardware Checks: Periodically (e.g., monthly) inspect all bolts, screws, and connections. Re-tighten any loose hardware to maintain structural integrity.
  • Damage Inspection: Regularly check for any signs of wear, damage, or structural fatigue. If any damage is found, discontinue use and contact customer support.
