Important Safety Information

• Weight Capacity: The upper bunk is designed to support a maximum weight of 250 lbs. The lower bunk is designed to support a maximum weight of 350 lbs. Exceeding these limits may result in injury.
• Mattress Thickness: For the upper bunk, use a mattress with a thickness of 4-6 inches. For the lower bunk, use a mattress with a thickness of 6-8 inches. Ensure the mattress on the upper bunk is at least 5 inches below the top of the guardrails.
• Guardrails: Always use the guardrails on the upper bunk. Do not remove them.
• Ladder Safety: Use the ladder for entry and exit from the upper bunk. Do not use the storage shelves as a ladder.
• Assembly: Assembly requires two adults. Ensure all connections are tight before use. Periodically check and tighten all bolts and fasteners.
• Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the bed.
• No Horseplay: Prohibit horseplay on or under the bed.
• Children: Children under 6 years of age should not use the upper bunk.

Setup and Assembly

Assembly typically requires two adults and approximately 1-2 hours. Do not use power tools for assembly as this may overtighten fasteners and damage the frame.

1. Prepare the Area: Clear a spacious area for assembly. Lay out all components on a soft surface (e.g., carpet) to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble the Lower Bed Frame: Connect the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and Allen wrench. Hand-tighten all bolts initially.
3. Install Lower Bed Slats: Place the metal slats onto the support rails of the lower bed frame. Secure them as per the instructions, ensuring even spacing.
4. Assemble the Upper Bed Frame: Repeat the process for the upper bed frame, connecting side rails to the headboard and footboard.
5. Attach Guardrails: Secure the guardrails to the upper bed frame.
6. Install Upper Bed Slats: Place and secure the metal slats for the upper bed.
7. Assemble Storage Ladder and Wardrobe: Follow the specific instructions for assembling the wooden shelves and wardrobe components. Attach them to the metal frame structure.
8. Connect Upper and Lower Sections: Carefully lift the assembled upper bed frame and align it with the posts of the lower bed frame. Secure them together using the designated connection points and hardware. This step requires two people.
9. Attach Storage Unit to Bunk Bed: Connect the assembled storage ladder and wardrobe unit to the main bunk bed frame.
10. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place and aligned, fully tighten all bolts and fasteners. Do not overtighten.
11. Inspect: Ensure the bed is stable and all parts are securely fastened before use.
