5. Operating Instructions

4. Interpret Results: After the 48-hour incubation period, observe the color of the water in the test bottle. Compare it to the color guide below:
• Yellow Color: If the water in the bottle turns yellow, it indicates that no harmful bacteria (including E. coli or coliform bacteria) were detected in your water sample. The water is considered safe based on this test.
• Green Color: If the water in the bottle turns green, it is highly likely that harmful bacteria, including E. coli or coliform bacteria, are present in your water sample. Further action, such as boiling water or seeking professional testing, is recommended.
