1. Product Overview

2. Setup and Charging

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Ensure all accessories, including the remote control and charging cable, are present.

2.2 Charging the Unit

Before first use, fully charge the robotic skimmer. The unit is equipped with a 7600mAh battery. A full charge typically takes 2.5 to 3 hours.

  1. Locate the charging port on the unit.
  2. Connect the charging cable to the unit and a suitable power source.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will change or turn off once charging is complete.
  4. Disconnect the charger once the battery is fully charged.

2.3 Placing in the Pool

Gently place the robotic skimmer onto the surface of your pool. Ensure it floats freely and is not obstructed by pool edges or other objects.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button on the unit or the remote control to turn the skimmer on or off.

3.2 Automatic Cleaning Mode

In automatic mode, the PRS100A uses its integrated sensors to navigate the pool surface, detecting and avoiding obstacles. It will follow an optimized path to cover the entire pool surface.

3.3 Manual Control with Remote

The remote control allows for direct manipulation of the skimmer's movement and speed. The remote has a range of up to 50 meters (164 feet).

  2. Directional Controls: Use the arrow buttons (Forward, Backward, Left, Right) to steer the skimmer.
  3. Speed Adjustment: Press the 'Speed' button to cycle through available speed settings: Low (Deep cleaning), Medium (Moderately clean), and High (Fast cleaning).
  4. Light Control: Activate or deactivate the ambient light feature.
  5. Self-Parking: Initiates the self-parking sequence for easy retrieval.

3.4 Self-Parking Technology

When the battery is low or the 'Self-Parking' button is pressed on the remote, the skimmer will automatically navigate to the edge of the pool for convenient retrieval.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Filter Basket

Regularly empty and clean the 10-liter top-load filter basket to ensure optimal cleaning performance.

  1. Retrieve the skimmer from the pool.
  2. Open the top cover to access the filter basket.
  3. Remove the basket and dispose of collected debris.
  4. Rinse the basket thoroughly with clean water.
  5. Reinsert the clean filter basket and close the cover securely.

4.2 Chlorine Dispenser Function

The unit includes a chlorine dispenser function. Place chlorine tablets into the designated compartment within the filter basket to help maintain pool chemistry while skimming.

4.3 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, ensure the unit is clean, dry, and fully charged. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
