This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your ikaufen Wireless Indoor Weather Station. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper function and longevity.

Setup
1. Powering the Device
The weather station can be powered by either 2x AA batteries (not included) or via the provided USB cable.
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the device. Insert 2x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- USB Power: Connect the provided USB cable to the external power port on the back of the device and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included) or a compatible USB port.
Note: When powered by batteries, the backlight will automatically turn off after 5 seconds to conserve energy.
2. Initial Settings (Time, Date, Temperature Unit)
Upon first power-up or after a reset, you may need to set the time, date, and preferred temperature unit.
- Press the MODE button to cycle through setting options (Time, Date, Alarm).
- When the desired setting is flashing, use the ▲12/24 (Up) or ▼°C/°F (Down) buttons to adjust the values.
- Press MODE again to confirm the setting and move to the next.
- To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press the °C/°F button during normal display mode.
- To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time format, press the 12/24 button during normal display mode.
Operating Instructions
1. Display Functions
The large color LCD displays the following information:
- Time and Date: Current time (12H/24H format) and date.
- Indoor Temperature: Displays in °F or °C. Measurement range: -9.9 °C (14.2 °F) to 60 °C (140 °F).
- Indoor Humidity: Displays as a percentage. Measurement range: 20%RH to 99%RH.
- Weather Forecast: Graphical representation of anticipated weather conditions.
- Temperature Trend: Indicates changes in temperature over time.
- Min/Max Records: The device records minimum and maximum temperature and humidity values. Press the MAX/MIN button to view these records.
Important Note on Outdoor Temperature: This device is primarily an indoor weather station. To measure outdoor temperature, the unit itself must be placed outdoors. It does not include a separate outdoor sensor. Allow approximately 15 minutes for the temperature reading to stabilize after moving the device to a new environment.
2. Alarm Clock and Snooze
The weather station includes an alarm clock with a snooze function.
- Setting the Alarm: Press the MODE button until the alarm time flashes. Use the ▲12/24 or ▼°C/°F buttons to set the desired alarm time. Press MODE to confirm.
- Activating Snooze: When the alarm sounds, press the SNZ button to activate the snooze function, providing an additional 8 minutes of sleep.
- Stopping the Alarm: To stop the alarm completely, press any button other than SNZ.
3. Voice Control and Backlight
The device features a voice-activated backlight for convenience.
- Activating Voice Control: Locate the "S/C" switch on the back of the device. Slide it to the "ON" position to enable voice control.
- Activating Backlight:
- Tap the table where the device rests.
- Touch any part of the device body.
- Clap your hands within 1 meter of the device.
- Press the SNZ button.
- The backlight will automatically turn off after 5 seconds to conserve power.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: If using batteries, replace them when the display dims or functions become erratic. Ensure correct polarity.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
- Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity, which can affect accuracy and lifespan.
