3. Setup and Installation

1. Prepare the Sanding Tool: Ensure the backing pad of your random orbital sander is clean and dry. Remove any dust or old abrasive particles that may hinder proper adhesion.
2. Attach the Sanding Disc: Align the hook and loop side of the sanding disc with the backing pad of your tool. Press firmly to ensure a secure and even attachment across the entire surface of the disc.

4. Operating Instructions

Wet sanding is ideal for achieving a smoother finish, reducing dust, and preventing clogging, especially on materials like paint, clear coats, or plastics.

• Before starting, ensure the surface and the sanding disc are adequately lubricated with water, varnish, shellac, lacquer, or oil.
• Maintain a consistent flow of liquid during the sanding process to keep the surface and disc lubricated and to flush away sanding residue.
• Use light, even pressure and smooth, overlapping strokes.
• After sanding, thoroughly clean the sanded surface and allow it to dry completely before proceeding with further steps.
