Setup Instructions

1. Powering the Device

The Bysimilai TXQ124 is powered via its USB connector. Plug the USB end directly into any standard USB port (e.g., on a TV, PC, car charger, or USB wall adapter) for power supply. The device does not contain an internal battery and requires continuous USB power to operate.

2. Switching Between Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) Modes

The device supports two operational modes: Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX). To switch between modes, long press the button with the light bulb icon (LED ON/OFF button) for approximately 3 seconds. The indication LED will change color or pattern to indicate the current mode.

3. Connecting in Transmitter (TX) Mode

In TX mode, the adapter transmits audio from a non-Bluetooth source to a Bluetooth receiving device (e.g., headphones, speaker).

1. Ensure the device is in TX mode (long press the light bulb button if needed).
2. Connect the 3.5mm AUX cable from the adapter's AUX port to the audio output jack of your non-Bluetooth source (e.g., TV, PC, MP3 player).
3. Place your Bluetooth headphones or speaker into pairing mode.
4. The adapter will automatically search for and connect to nearby Bluetooth devices. The indication LED will show pairing status.
5. Once connected, audio from your source will be transmitted to your Bluetooth device.

Note: If no 3.5mm cable is connected in TX mode, the device may function as a USB audio device when plugged into a computer, allowing audio transmission directly via USB. When a 3.5mm cable is connected, the USB audio device functionality typically deactivates.

4. Connecting in Receiver (RX) Mode

In RX mode, the adapter receives audio from a Bluetooth source (e.g., smartphone, tablet) and outputs it to a non-Bluetooth audio device (e.g., car stereo, wired headphones, home stereo).

1. Ensure the device is in RX mode (long press the light bulb button if needed).
2. Connect the 3.5mm AUX cable from the adapter's AUX port to the audio input jack of your non-Bluetooth receiving device (e.g., car stereo AUX-in, wired headphones).
3. On your Bluetooth source device (e.g., smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
4. Select "TXQ124" (or similar name) from the list of found devices to pair.

Operating Instructions

1. Hands-free Calling (RX Mode)

When the device is in RX mode and paired with your smartphone, you can use its built-in microphone for hands-free calls.

• Answer Call: Short press the Play/Pause button (button with triangle icon) once.
• End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button once during a call.
• Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button for approximately 2 seconds when a call comes in.

The device also supports broadcasting voice notifications from navigation applications on your smartphone, enhancing safety while driving.

2. Controlling Ambient Lights

The device features colorful ambient LED lights. To turn these lights on or off, short press the button with the light bulb icon (LED ON/OFF button).

Note: The device may default to having the lights on when powered up, requiring a short press to turn them off if desired.

3. Audio Playback Control

The Play/Pause button (button with triangle icon) can be used for basic audio control:

• Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button to play or pause audio.
• Note (TX Mode): In Transmitter mode, this button may mute the audio without sending a pause signal to the connected Bluetooth device.
• Note (RX Mode): In Receiver mode, this button typically sends a play/pause command to your Bluetooth source device.
