Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to make fresh popcorn:
- Preheat Kettle: Close the plexiglass door. Turn on the "POP" switch to preheat the kettle for 3-5 minutes. The warming light will also turn on.
- Add Oil: Using one of the measuring spoons, add the recommended amount of popcorn oil to the kettle.
- Add Popcorn Kernels: Once the oil is hot (a few test kernels should pop), add 4 ounces of popcorn kernels to the kettle using the appropriate measuring spoon.
- Popping Process: Close the door. The stir rod will rotate to ensure even popping. Popcorn will begin to pop and fall into the removable tray below.
- Serving: Once popping slows significantly (approximately 2-3 minutes after the first kernel pops), turn off the "POP" switch. Carefully open the door and tilt the kettle to release any remaining popcorn. Use the serving scoop to transfer popcorn to bags or bowls.
- Keep Warm: The "LIGHT" switch can be kept on to illuminate the interior and keep the popcorn warm.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your popcorn machine.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the machine from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Remove Kettle: Carefully detach the kettle from its hanging brackets.
- Clean Kettle: The stainless steel nonstick kettle can be cleaned with warm, soapy water. Avoid abrasive scrubbers to protect the nonstick coating. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Clean Popcorn Tray: Remove the plastic popcorn tray and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
- Clean Interior and Exterior: Wipe down the interior and exterior plexiglass panels and metal surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn residue, a mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used. Ensure no water enters electrical components.
- Reassemble: Once all parts are clean and dry, reassemble the kettle and tray.
