5. Operating Instructions

To operate your Merax Murphy Bed, follow these steps:

1. To Open the Bed:
   • Ensure the area in front of the cabinet is clear of obstructions.
   • Grasp the handles on the front panel of the cabinet.
   • Gently pull the bed panel downwards. The bed frame will pivot out from the cabinet.
   • As the bed lowers, extend the support legs down to the floor to stabilize the bed.
   • Ensure the support legs are fully extended and locked into position before use.
2. To Close the Bed:
   • Remove any bedding or items from the bed that would prevent it from folding.
   • Fold the support legs back into their stored position.
   • Grasp the handles on the bed frame and gently lift the bed upwards, guiding it back into the cabinet.
   • Push firmly until the bed panel is fully recessed and latched securely within the cabinet.
