4. Setup

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the power button (usually the center button) until the display illuminates and the device performs a self-test.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the device powers down.

4.3 Initial Calibration (Zeroing)

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Gas Detection

Once powered on, the device will continuously monitor the levels of H2S, O2, CO, and EX (combustible gases). The current concentration for each gas will be displayed on the LCD screen.

5.2 Alert System

The detector is equipped with a triple alert system to notify users of hazardous gas levels:

  • Visual Alarm: Red LED lights on the top of the device will flash.
  • Audible Alarm: A loud siren will sound.
  • Tactile Alarm: The device will vibrate.

5.3 Data Logging and Review

The device stores historical alarm records and monitoring data. Access this feature through the device's menu to review past events and gas level trends. This function is crucial for safety management and incident analysis.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

6.2 Storage

When not in use, store the detector in its provided aluminum alloy carrying case in a cool, dry, and dust-free environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6.3 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the device when the battery level is low. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to approximately 50% every few months.
