Maintenance
Regular maintenance will prolong the life and ensure the safety of your Merax bunk bed.
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain stability.
- Ladder: Inspect the ladder rungs and connections regularly for any signs of wear or looseness.
- Moving Parts: Ensure the trundle bed and drawers slide smoothly. Clean any debris from the tracks if movement becomes difficult.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your bunk bed, refer to the following common solutions:
- Wobbliness: If the bed feels wobbly, re-check all assembly connections. Ensure all bolts and screws are fully tightened. Uneven flooring can also contribute to wobbliness; consider using shims if needed.
- Trundle/Drawer Sticking: Check for any obstructions in the tracks or debris. Ensure the trundle mattress is not too thick, preventing it from sliding in completely.
- Missing Parts: If any parts were missing upon delivery, contact Merax customer support immediately with your product model and purchase information.
- Assembly Difficulty: Refer to the detailed assembly guide. If steps are unclear, contact customer support for assistance.
