Maintenance
- Cleaning: The leather padding is water and oil-resistant. Wipe down the surfaces with a damp cloth after use to remove dirt, oil, and grease. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Wheel Inspection: Periodically check the wheels for wear and tear. Ensure they roll smoothly and are free from debris. Clean any accumulated dirt from the wheel casters.
- Fastener Check: Regularly inspect all screws, nuts, and pins to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain structural integrity.
- Storage: Store the creeper/seat in a clean, dry environment when not in use.
Troubleshooting
- Difficulty Converting: If the unit is hard to convert between modes, check if the locking pin is fully disengaged. Ensure no debris is obstructing the folding mechanism.
- Unstable Movement: If the creeper/seat feels unstable or wheels do not roll smoothly, check all wheel fasteners for tightness. Inspect wheels for damage or excessive wear. Clean any obstructions from the wheels.
- Squeaking Noises: Apply a small amount of lubricant to the wheel axles or pivot points if squeaking occurs during movement or conversion.
