The KuWFi M47-L is a portable 4G LTE WiFi mobile hotspot device designed to provide internet access via a HSPA/LTE Data SIM card. 3. Product Overview
The M47-L features a 1.77-inch TFT LCD screen for displaying essential information such as battery capacity, signal strength, connection time, number of connected users, and current download/upload speeds. It includes a power/confirm button, a WPS/scrolling button, and a TYPE-C interface for charging and data transfer.

The device supports a Nano SIM card and a TF card. The internal design accommodates a removable Lithium battery.

4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, charge the device for more than 4 hours using the provided USB cable and a compatible 5V/1A power adapter.
4.2 SIM Card and Battery Installation
- Remove the back cover of the device.
- Insert the Nano SIM card into the designated SIM card slot. Ensure the SIM card is active and does not require a PIN code. The device does not support roaming services, Virtual SIM Cards, or IoT SIM Cards.
- Insert the battery into its compartment.
- Replace the back cover.
4.3 Powering On
Press and hold the Power/Confirm button until the screen illuminates.
4.4 Network Activation (for included SIM card)
If using the included 2GB data SIM card, follow these steps for activation:
- Hold the power button to turn on the WiFi hotspot.
- Scan the QR code displayed on the device screen or located on the device itself.
- Enter the ICCID number from the empty space on the SIM card packaging or use your phone's camera to scan the QR code on the mobile hotspot.
- Confirm activation through the provided interface.
- Choose your desired data package if you wish to purchase additional data.

4.5 APN Configuration (if required)
If your SIM card is compatible but not connecting, you may need to configure the Access Point Name (APN):
- Connect a device (e.g., smartphone, laptop) to the hotspot's WiFi network.
- Open a web browser and enter the IP address: 192.168.8.1
- Navigate to Network > APN.
- Enable APN and modify the settings according to your SIM card provider's specifications. This may include Profile name, APN name, Username, Password, Authentication type (auto/pap/chap), and IP type (ipv4/6).
5. Operation
5.1 Connecting Devices
The M47-L can support up to 10 connected devices simultaneously, providing a WiFi range of approximately 3-10 meters. Once the hotspot is powered on and connected to the cellular network, search for its WiFi network name (SSID) on your device and enter the password (found on the device's screen or label).

5.2 Display Information
The 1.77-inch TFT LCD screen provides real-time information:
- Battery capacity
- Signal strength
- Connection time
- Number of connected users
- Download speed
- Upload speed
5.3 Network Modes and Search
The device supports automatic or manual network search. The default setting is automatic. You can also manually select various network modes via the web UI (192.168.8.1), including Auto, LTE only, WCDMA only, and GSM only.
5.4 Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
The M47-L supports two WPS methods for simplified secure wireless network configuration:
- PBC (Push Button Configuration): Press the WPS button on the device or a virtual button on the web UI.
- PIN (Personal Information Number): Enter a PIN into the device through the Web UI.
5.5 DHCP Server and DNS Relay
The device's DHCP server dynamically allocates IP addresses to client devices. You can enable/disable the DHCP server, configure its address pool, and set the lease time (default 86400 seconds) via the web UI. It also supports DNS relay for client devices, with options for automatic (using WAN DNS servers) or manual (setting primary and secondary DNS) modes.
6. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your KuWFi M47-L hotspot:
- Keep the device clean and free from dust.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Use only the provided USB cable for charging.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged before extended periods of non-use.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 No Internet Connection
- Check SIM Card Activation: Ensure your SIM card is active and has a valid data plan.
- APN Settings: Verify that the APN settings are correctly configured for your SIM card provider (refer to Section 4.5).
- PIN Code: Disable any PIN code on your SIM card before inserting it into the hotspot.
- SIM Card Compatibility: Confirm that your SIM card's frequency bands are compatible with the M47-L (4G FDD-LTE: B2/B4/B5/B12/B13/B66; UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+: B2/B4/B5). The device is primarily applicable to regions including USA, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, and parts of Central and South America.
- Unsupported SIM Types: The device does not support roaming services, Virtual SIM Cards, or IoT SIM Cards.
- Signal Strength: Check the signal strength indicator on the device screen. Move to an area with better cellular coverage if the signal is weak.

7.2 Device Not Powering On
- Ensure the battery is correctly installed and sufficiently charged.
- Connect the device to a power source using the USB cable to check if it charges.
7.3 Slow Connection Speed
- Reduce the number of connected devices.
- Move to an area with stronger 4G LTE signal.
- Ensure no background applications are consuming excessive bandwidth on connected devices.
