4.1. Frame Assembly

  1. Unpack Components: Lay out all frame tubes and connectors on a clean, flat surface. Refer to the parts list in your specific packaging for identification.
  2. Construct Base Frame: Assemble the rectangular base frame using the longest straight tubes and corner connectors. Ensure all connections are secure.

4.3. Anchoring the Greenhouse

  1. Install Ground Nails: Drive the ground nails or stakes through the designated loops at the base of the greenhouse into the soil.
  2. Attach Tethers: Use the provided tethers to further secure the greenhouse to the ground, especially in windy conditions. Tie them to sturdy anchor points.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Accessing the Greenhouse

The greenhouse features a large roll-up door with a zipper. To open, unzip the door completely and roll it upwards. Secure it at the top using the attached ties or buckles to keep it open for easy access.

5.2. Ventilation and Climate Control

The greenhouse is equipped with eight roll-up side windows with mesh netting. These windows are crucial for cross-ventilation and regulating the internal temperature and humidity. To open a window, roll up the outer flap and secure it. The mesh netting will prevent pests while allowing airflow.

Close the windows and door to retain warmth, especially during cooler temperatures or at night. Open them during warmer periods to prevent excessive heat buildup and ensure proper air circulation for plant health.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Cover: Periodically clean the PE cover with mild soap and water to remove dirt, dust, and algae buildup. Avoid abrasive cleaners or brushes that could damage the material.
  • Inspect Frame and Cover: Regularly inspect the steel frame for any signs of rust or damage. Check the PE cover for tears, punctures, or loose attachments. Repair any damage promptly to maintain the greenhouse's integrity.
  • Secure Anchoring: Re-check the ground nails and tethers periodically, especially after strong winds, to ensure the greenhouse remains securely anchored.
  • Snow Load: In regions with snow, gently remove accumulated snow from the roof to prevent excessive weight and potential collapse.
  • Zipper Care: Keep the door zipper clean and lubricated if necessary to ensure smooth operation.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Greenhouse Instability: Ensure all frame connections are tight. Verify that ground nails are fully inserted and tethers are securely fastened to anchor points. Consider adding additional weights or anchors in very windy areas.
  • Water Pooling on Roof: Ensure the cover is stretched tautly over the frame during installation. Adjust tethers and attachments to eliminate slack. Regularly clear any accumulated water or snow.
  • Zipper Malfunction: Check for debris in the zipper teeth. Apply a silicone-based lubricant if the zipper is stiff. If the zipper is damaged, contact customer support for replacement options.
  • Excessive Heat Inside: Open all roll-up windows and the door to maximize ventilation. Consider adding shade cloth during peak summer heat.
  • Pest Entry: Ensure all windows are properly closed when not ventilating, and the door zipper is fully closed. Check for any small gaps or tears in the mesh or cover.
