1. Introduction
The 8849 Tank Mini Rugged Phone is a compact yet powerful smartphone designed for durability and outdoor use. Featuring a 4.3-inch display, Android 13 operating system, and a robust build, it is equipped with advanced features such as a built-in range finder, a powerful camping light, and high-resolution cameras, making it suitable for various demanding environments and activities.

2. Setup
2.1 SIM Card and TF Card Installation
The Tank Mini supports dual Nano SIM cards or one Nano SIM card and one TF (microSD) card for expandable storage up to 1TB. Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the device. Use the provided SIM ejector tool to open the tray. Carefully place your SIM card(s) and/or TF card into the designated slots, ensuring correct orientation. Close the tray securely.

2.2 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the USB-C cable to the phone's charging port and the other end to a compatible 33W fast charger. The 5800mAh battery provides extended usage time. A full charge to 90% typically takes approximately 1 hour.

2.3 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button (located on the side) until the screen lights up and the 8849 logo appears.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button, then select "Power off" from the options that appear on the screen.
- Restart: Press and hold the Power button, then select "Restart" from the options.
3. Operating the Device
3.1 Display and Navigation
The 8849 Tank Mini features a 4.3-inch FHD+ screen with a resolution of 800 x 480, 60Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits brightness. Its compact size allows for comfortable one-handed operation. Navigate the Android 13 interface using touch gestures: swipe right to go back, swipe up to go to the home screen, and swipe up and hold to view recent applications.

3.2 Camera Functions
The phone is equipped with a 100MP main camera and a 32MP front camera, allowing for high-quality photos and videos. It also features a dedicated underwater camera mode for capturing moments in aquatic environments.
- Taking Photos: Open the Camera app, frame your shot, and tap the shutter button.
- Underwater Camera: Activate the underwater mode in the camera settings before submerging the device. This mode optimizes settings for clear underwater photography.

3.3 Range Finder
The integrated range finder provides fast and precise data measurements, including length, area, and volume. This feature eliminates the need for traditional measuring tools in many situations.
- Using the Range Finder: Open the Range Finder application from the toolkit. Follow the on-screen instructions to measure distances, areas, or volumes.

3.4 Camping Light
The powerful camping light offers five different modes for various outdoor needs:
- Full Light: Maximum brightness for general illumination.
- Slightly Bright: Lower brightness for extended battery life or less intense lighting.
- Half Light: Reduced brightness, ideal for close-range tasks.
- Explosion Flash: Rapid, intermittent flashes for signaling or disorientation.
- SOS: Standard Morse code SOS signal for emergencies.
The phone also includes warning signal lights for additional safety.

- Fingerprint & Face Unlock: For convenient and secure unlocking, register your fingerprint and/or face in the phone's security settings.
- Customized Function Button: A programmable button allows quick access to your favorite apps or functions. Configure this in the phone's settings.
- NFC: Supports Near Field Communication for contactless payments and data exchange.
- OTG Functionality: The phone can act as a power bank to charge other devices using an OTG cable.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Durability and Protection
The 8849 Tank Mini is designed for 360° full protection, featuring IP68 waterproof, shockproof, and dust-proof capabilities. It can withstand submersion up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes and drops from a height of up to 1.5 meters.
- Waterproof Care: Ensure all port covers (USB-C, SIM tray) are securely closed before exposing the phone to water. After exposure to water, especially saltwater, rinse the phone with fresh water and dry thoroughly before charging or opening any ports.
- Dust-proof Care: Regularly clean the phone's surfaces and ports to prevent dust accumulation, which can affect performance.
- Drop Protection: While rugged, avoid unnecessary drops. The phone is designed to withstand impacts but extreme forces can still cause damage.

4.2 Battery Care
To maximize battery lifespan and performance:
- Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Use the original charger and cable for optimal charging.
- Do not fully discharge the battery regularly.
- If storing the device for a long period, charge it to about 50% before storage.

5.1 Carrier Compatibility
