Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe and effective use of your Govee Smart Outdoor String Lights 2. These lights feature RGBICW lighting effects, smart app and voice control, and are designed for outdoor durability.

Setup Instructions

Important Tip: Before installation, uncoil and untangle all light strings on a flat surface. Connect all segments together on the ground first to avoid tangles and simplify the process.

1. Unpack all components and ensure all items listed in "What's in the Box" are present.
2. Connect the string light segments to the control box, and then connect the control box to the adapter.
3. Plan your desired layout for the string lights. Use the provided cable clips and zip ties to secure the lights.
4. Ensure the control box and adapter are placed in a location protected from direct water immersion, as the adapter is IP44 rated. The lights themselves are IP65 waterproof.
5. Plug the adapter into a power outlet.

Mounting Tips

• For overhead installation, consider using a guide wire (not included) to support the weight of the lights and maintain a straight line.
• Use the provided cable clips to attach the string to surfaces like eaves or fences.
• The total length should not exceed 144ft (including adapter) if connecting multiple sets.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Use the physical button on the control box to turn the lights on or off. There may be a slight delay (approx. 2 seconds) when pressing the button.

Smart App Control

Download the Govee Home App from your smartphone's app store.

1. Open the Govee Home App and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your Smart Outdoor String Lights 2.
2. Once connected, you can adjust brightness, change colors, select from 47 scene modes, and create custom DIY lighting effects.
3. The app also allows for individual bulb color changes.

Voice Control
