2. Important Safety Information

Always follow these safety precautions to reduce the risk of injury or damage.

  • Obstruction Detection: The door opener features automatic reversal if it encounters obstacles during opening or closing. Ensure the area under the door is clear of objects and people at all times.

5. Installation Guide

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your door opener. Follow these steps carefully.

5.1 Side Clearance Requirements

Ensure adequate side clearance for the opener's installation.

5.2 Installation Steps

Follow these steps to install the door opener. Refer to the diagrams for visual guidance.

  1. Preparation (Picture 5):
    • Ensure the U-bolt is firmly fixed.
    • Remove the U-bolt.
    • Remove the right side support frame.
    • Ensure the rope and support are in place as shown.
  2. Mounting the Driver (Picture 6):
    • Carefully position and install the driver unit onto the door mechanism.
    • If the gear of the driver cannot spin freely, pull the clutch handle to disengage it.
  3. Finalizing Installation (Picture 7):
    • Refix the U-bolt securely.
    • Reinstall the right side support frame.
    • Shear the rope (cut it to the appropriate length).
    • Remove any temporary supports used during installation.

6. Operation

6.1 Control Methods

The opener can be controlled via the integrated control panel or the remote controls.

  • Remote Control: Use the provided remote controls for convenient operation from a distance of up to 164 feet.
  • Integrated Control Panel: The unit features a control panel with buttons for Function Setting, Up (Open), Open/Close/Stop, Down (Close), and Remote Control Learning.
  • Manual Mode: In case of power outage or for manual operation, pull down the designated pull rope handle to disengage the motor and operate the door manually.

6.2 Remote Control Operation

The remote controls allow for easy operation of your garage door.

  • To Open/Close: Gently press the designated button on the remote control.
  • To Stop: If the door is moving (either opening or closing), pressing the button again will stop its movement.
  • Automatic Reversal: If the door encounters an obstruction while closing, it will automatically reverse its direction to prevent damage or injury.

6.3 Automatic Shutdown Mode

The opener supports automatic shutdown features for enhanced safety and convenience.

7. Maintenance
