Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the safe to ensure proper setup and usage.

Important Safety Information

  • Always keep the emergency override keys in a secure location away from the safe. Do not store them inside the safe.
  • Ensure the safe is placed on a stable, level surface or securely mounted to a wall or floor to prevent tipping.
  • Do not expose the safe to extreme temperatures or humidity.
  • Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears to avoid being locked out.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the safe door.
  2. Open the battery cover.
  3. Insert 4 AA batteries (included) according to the polarity markings (+/-).
  4. Close the battery cover. The safe will emit a beep, indicating successful power-up.

2. Initial Code Setting

The safe comes with a default factory code. It is highly recommended to change this immediately.

  1. With the safe door open, locate the reset button on the inside of the door, near the battery compartment.
  2. Press the reset button. The safe will beep, and the indicator light will flash.
  3. On the keypad, enter your desired 3-8 digit code, then press the '#' key.
  4. The safe will beep twice, confirming the new code has been set.
  5. Test the new code with the door open before closing it.

3. Fingerprint Enrollment

You can enroll multiple fingerprints for quick access.

  1. With the safe door open, press the reset button.
  2. Place your finger firmly on the fingerprint scanner. The safe will beep once.
  3. Lift your finger and place it again on the scanner from a slightly different angle. Repeat this process 3-5 times until the safe beeps twice, indicating successful enrollment.
  4. To enroll additional fingerprints, repeat steps 1-3 for each finger.
  5. Test the enrolled fingerprint with the door open before closing it.

4. Mounting the Safe (Optional)

The safe can be mounted to a wall or floor for added security.

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting.
  2. Open the safe door and locate the pre-drilled holes on the back or bottom panel.
  3. Mark the drilling points on the wall or floor through the holes.
  4. Drill pilot holes using an appropriate drill bit for your mounting surface.
  5. Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided fixing bolts. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.

Operating the Safe

Opening with Fingerprint

  1. Place an enrolled finger firmly on the fingerprint scanner.
  2. If the fingerprint is recognized, the safe will beep, and the indicator light will turn green.
  3. Rotate the handle clockwise to open the door.

Opening with Digital Code

  1. Enter your 3-8 digit personal code on the keypad.
  2. Press the '#' key.
  3. If the code is correct, the safe will beep, and the indicator light will turn green.
  4. Rotate the handle clockwise to open the door.

Opening with Emergency Override Key

Use this method if batteries are depleted or if you forget your code/fingerprint.

  1. Locate the keyhole cover on the safe door (usually hidden near the handle or keypad).
  2. Remove the cover.
  3. Insert one of the emergency override keys into the keyhole and turn it clockwise.
  4. While holding the key turned, rotate the handle clockwise to open the door.
  5. Remove the key and replace the keyhole cover after use.

Closing and Locking the Safe

  1. Close the safe door firmly.
  2. Rotate the handle counter-clockwise until it clicks into place. The safe will automatically lock.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

When the batteries are low, the safe will typically indicate this with a warning light or sound during operation. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous functionality.

  1. Open the safe using your code, fingerprint, or emergency key.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
  3. Remove the old batteries and dispose of them properly.
  4. Insert 4 new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  5. Close the battery cover.

Cleaning

Wipe the safe's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or electronic components.

Troubleshooting

  • Safe does not open with code/fingerprint:
    • Ensure batteries are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
    • Re-enter the code carefully.
    • Ensure your finger is clean and dry, and placed firmly on the scanner. Try re-enrolling your fingerprint.
    • Use the emergency override key to open the safe.
  • Keypad is unresponsive:
    • Check battery levels. Replace batteries.
    • Ensure no debris is obstructing the buttons.
  • Safe beeps continuously or alarm sounds:
    • This may indicate multiple incorrect entries or tampering. Wait for the alarm to clear, then try again with the correct access method.
    • Check if the door is fully closed and the handle is turned to the locked position.
  • Cannot change code or enroll fingerprint:
    • Ensure the reset button is pressed correctly and the indicator light flashes before entering new data.
    • Follow the steps precisely as outlined in the 'Setup' section.
