Important Safety Information

Please read and understand all instructions before assembling and using this canopy. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

• Weather Conditions: This canopy is designed for temporary use. Do not leave it unattended in severe weather conditions such as heavy rain, strong winds, or snow. Remove the top cover in inclement weather to prevent damage.
• Assembly: Always assemble the canopy with at least 2-3 people. Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged before use.
• Anchoring: Always use the provided ropes and stakes, along with sandbags, to properly anchor the canopy to the ground. This prevents wind from lifting or moving the structure.
• Clearance: Ensure adequate clearance around the canopy, away from power lines, trees, or other structures.
• Fire Safety: Keep all flame and heat sources away from the canopy fabric. The fabric is not fireproof.
• Children: Keep children away from the assembly area. Do not allow children to play or hang on the canopy frame.

Setup Instructions

Assembly requires 2-3 people. No tools are required for the main canopy setup.

Main Canopy Setup

1. Step 1: Extend the Frame. Take the fully assembled frame out of the roller bag. With a person at each end, slightly extend the pre-assembled frame.
2. Step 2: Attach the Fabric Top. Place the canopy fabric top over the partially extended frame. Secure the fabric to the frame using the velcro straps located at the corners.
3. Step 3: Fully Open and Adjust Height. Continue to fully open the canopy frame. Once fully extended, adjust the height of the legs to your desired level using the thumb button system. Ensure all legs are locked into place.
4. Step 4: Attach Awning and Sidewalls. Attach the removable awning and sidewalls according to your needs. (Refer to the 'Awning Setup' section for detailed instructions).

Awning Setup

1. Connect the awning tubes using the provided connectors.
2. Insert the connected awning tubes into the sleeves of the awning cloth.
3. Install the awning support tubes onto the main canopy frame.
4. Secure the awning cloth to the support tubes and frame.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Height

The canopy features 3 adjustable height settings to suit various needs.

1. Locate the thumb button on each leg of the canopy frame.
2. Press the thumb button and gently lift or lower the leg to the desired height.
3. Ensure the button snaps securely into one of the three height positions (122", 126", or 130"). Verify all four legs are at the same height for stability.

Using Sidewalls and Awning

The canopy includes removable sidewalls and an awning for added protection and versatility.

• Sidewalls: The four sidewalls can be attached to the canopy frame using the integrated magic straps. This provides additional shelter from sun, wind, or light rain.
• Awning: The removable awning provides an extended shaded area. It can be installed in two positions:
  • Installation Method 1 (Greater Shading Area): Position the awning for maximum horizontal extension, ideal for sunny conditions.
  • Installation Method 2 (More Sloping Angle): Position the awning with a steeper angle to allow rainwater to run off quickly, suitable for light rain.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the life of your COBIZI canopy.

• Cleaning: Clean the canopy fabric with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the PU coating. Allow the fabric to dry completely before storing.
• Storage: When not in use, especially during off-season or inclement weather, disassemble the canopy and store it in the provided roller bag in a dry, cool place.
• Frame Care: Inspect the powder-coated steel frame periodically for any signs of rust or damage. Clean any dirt or debris from the frame.
• Inclement Weather: Always remove the top cover and sidewalls in anticipation of heavy rain, strong winds, or snow to prevent structural damage and prolong the product's lifespan.

Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter.

• Canopy is difficult to open/close: Ensure the frame joints are clean and free of debris. Apply a silicone-based lubricant if necessary. Ensure all locking pins are disengaged when closing.
• Water pooling on the canopy top: This can occur during heavy rain if the canopy is not properly tensioned or if the awning is not set to the sloping angle. Ensure the fabric is taut and consider adjusting the awning position for better runoff.
• Canopy feels unstable: Verify that all legs are extended to the same height and securely locked. Ensure the canopy is properly anchored with stakes, ropes, and sandbags, especially in breezy conditions.
• Sidewalls do not fit correctly: Ensure the sidewalls are oriented correctly and attached evenly to the frame using all available magic straps.
