2. Features
- Upgraded Design: Constructed with high-quality zinc alloy and a protective hood for increased security. Weatherproof materials ensure safe storage indoors and outdoors.

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The Matrix II Smart Key Lock Box requires 4 x AAA alkaline batteries for operation. To install:
- Open the lock box using the manual key provided. The keyhole is located at the bottom of the device.
- Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
- Use the provided screwdriver to remove the screw securing the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 x AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
3.2 App Download & Account Creation
Download the Linkstyle app to manage your lock box. The app is compatible with Android 4.4+ and iOS 7.0+.
- Scan the QR code found in the quick start guide or on the product packaging to download the Linkstyle app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to create a new user account.

3.3 Device Pairing (Bluetooth & WiFi Hub)
To add your Matrix II lock box to the app and enable remote access:
- Open the Linkstyle app and tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
- Select 'Add Device' and choose the Matrix II lock box from the list of nearby Bluetooth devices. If not found automatically, tap the lock box keypad to wake it up.
- For remote access, ensure your Linkstyle WiFi Hub is powered on and connected to your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
- In the app, pair the WiFi Hub with your Matrix II lock box. Keep the hub and lock box within 1-2 feet during initial pairing for optimal connection.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Unlocking Methods
The Matrix II lock box offers several ways to unlock:
- Digital Passcode: Enter your preset PIN on the keypad.
- Fingerprint: Place your registered fingerprint on the sensor.
- Smart IC Card: Tap a registered IC card on the designated area.
- Bluetooth & Remote App Access: Use the Linkstyle app to unlock via Bluetooth (within range) or remotely via WiFi Hub.
- Manual Key: Use the physical emergency key in the keyhole at the bottom.
4.2 Temporary Codes
The Linkstyle app allows you to generate various temporary codes for guests or specific access periods:
- Time-Limited Codes: Set an effective time and an expiration time for access.
- One-Time Codes: Valid for 6 hours or a single use.
- Dynamic Codes: Can be used multiple times within a 5-minute period.
- Custom Codes: Create your own 8-10 digit password.
4.3 Member Management
Manage access for multiple users through the Linkstyle app:
- Add or remove family members or guests.
- Assign unique fingerprints, passcodes, or IC cards to each member.
- Monitor unlock records and receive notifications for each access event (requires WiFi Hub).
5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
When the batteries are low, the lock box will indicate this. Replace all 4 x AAA alkaline batteries following the installation steps in Section 3.1.
5.2 Waterproof Care
The Matrix II is designed with IP65 waterproofing. To maintain its integrity, ensure the protective hood is properly closed and the USB-C and manual key ports are sealed when not in use.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Connectivity Issues (Bluetooth/WiFi Loss)
If the WiFi Hub loses power or WiFi connection, or if your mobile device is out of Bluetooth range, remote app functions will be unavailable. However, pre-programmed fingerprints, passcodes, and IC cards stored directly on the lock box will still function.

6.2 Reset Process
If you need to reset your lock box:
- Open the lock box.
- Locate the reset hole inside the battery compartment.
- Use the special tool (or a thin pin) provided to press and hold the reset button for approximately 5-10 seconds until you hear a confirmation sound.
- The initialization password will be reset to '0000'.
