Thank you for choosing the LAMPICK Smart Automatic Cat Feeder. This device is designed to provide convenient and reliable feeding for your pets, ensuring they receive meals on schedule. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your feeder.

Setup Instructions

1. Power Supply Connection

The feeder supports dual power supply options: a DC 5V adapter and 3 D-size alkaline batteries (not included). It is recommended to use both for uninterrupted operation.

  • Connect the DC 5V power adapter to the feeder and a wall outlet.
  • For backup power, open the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder and insert 3 D-size alkaline batteries. Ensure correct polarity.

2. App Installation and Wi-Fi Connection

The LAMPICK Smart Automatic Cat Feeder connects to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz only) via the "PetTech" mobile application.

  1. Download the "PetTech" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
  2. Register or log in to your account.
  3. Ensure your feeder is powered on and the Wi-Fi indicator light is flashing rapidly for pairing.
  4. In the app, follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device. Select the automatic feeder and enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network name and password.
  5. Once connected, you can control the feeder remotely.

Note: Only one mobile device can be actively connected to the feeder at a time. You can share device access through the app for multiple users.

3. Filling the Food Tank

  • Remove the lid from the top of the feeder.
  • Insert the desiccant bag into its designated slot in the lid to keep food fresh.
  • Pour dry pet food into the transparent food tank. The feeder has a 4L (16.9 cups) capacity.
  • Ensure the food kibble size is between 2-10mm to prevent clogging.
  • Replace the lid, ensuring it is securely latched with the double-sided buckle design.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting Feeding Schedules (via App)

Use the "PetTech" app to customize your pet's feeding plan:

  • Open the "PetTech" app and select your feeder device.
  • Navigate to the "Schedule" or "Feeding Plan" section.
  • Add new feeding times and specify the number of portions for each meal (1 portion = approximately 8g). The feeder supports up to 10 meals per day with up to 15 portions per meal.
  • Save your settings. The feeder will dispense food automatically according to the schedule.
  • You can view feeding logs within the app to confirm successful dispensing.

2. Manual Feeding (via App)

To dispense food immediately outside of scheduled times:

  • Open the "PetTech" app and select your feeder device.
  • Look for a "Manual Feed" or "Feed Now" option.
  • Select the desired number of portions to dispense.
  • Confirm the manual feed.

3. Double Lock Design

The feeder features a double-sided buckle design on the lid to prevent pets from accessing the food. Additionally, the feeder automatically locks after 30 seconds of inactivity to prevent accidental changes or overfeeding.

4. Anti-Clog Design

The feeder incorporates a silicone impeller and a 45-degree steep slope design at the food outlet to ensure smooth food distribution and prevent clogging. If a clog is detected, the grain bucket rotor will reverse to clear it.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for your pet's health and the feeder's longevity. The feeder is designed for easy disassembly and cleaning.

  • Disassembly: The food tank, lid, silicone sealing ring, desiccant packet, grain bucket rotor, and BPA-free bowl can be easily detached from the main base unit.
  • Cleaning: Hand wash all detachable parts with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly.
  • Base Unit: Do not immerse the base unit in water. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
  • Frequency: It is recommended to clean the food tank every 15-35 days, or more frequently if needed.
  • Desiccant: Replace the desiccant bag periodically to maintain food freshness.

Troubleshooting

  • Wi-Fi indicator not flashing rapidly.
  • Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz network.
  • Double-check Wi-Fi password.
  • Move feeder closer to the Wi-Fi router.
  • Reset the feeder (refer to app instructions for reset procedure) to enter pairing mode.
Food not staying fresh.
  • Desiccant bag needs replacement.
  • Lid not sealed properly.
  • Replace the desiccant bag.
  • Ensure the lid is securely closed and the double-sided buckles are latched.
