1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Tdewlye Twin Size Upholstered Platform Bed. This bed features a unique cloud-shaped headboard with an embedded light stripe, designed to provide a comfortable and stylish sleeping solution for children's bedrooms. This manual provides detailed instructions for assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure safe and proper use of your new bed.

2. Important Safety Information

• Read all instructions carefully before assembly and use.
• Keep all small parts and packaging materials away from children during assembly to prevent choking hazards.
• Ensure all bolts and screws are securely tightened before use. Periodically check and re-tighten as necessary.
• Do not use power tools for assembly unless specifically instructed, as over-tightening can damage components.

3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to assemble the bed with two adults.

Step 4.1: Unpack and Identify Parts

• Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
• Lay out all parts on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
• Compare all parts with the "Package Contents" list to ensure everything is present.

Step 4.2: Assemble the Headboard

• Attach the headboard support legs to the cloud-shaped headboard using the provided bolts and Allen wrench. Do not fully tighten yet.

Step 4.3: Attach Side Rails to Headboard and Footboard

• Connect the side rails to the assembled headboard using the appropriate hardware.
• Attach the footboard to the other end of the side rails. Ensure all connections are aligned.
• Once all four sides are connected, gently tighten all bolts.

Step 4.4: Install Bed Slats

• Place the bed slats evenly across the side rails.
• Secure each slat to the side rails using the provided screws. Ensure they are firmly attached to prevent movement.
• Install any central support legs for the slats if included.

Step 4.5: Final Tightening and Placement

• Once all components are assembled, go back and fully tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten.
• Carefully move the assembled bed to its desired location.
• Place your mattress (not included) on the bed slats. A mattress thickness of 6 inches is recommended.

5. Operating Instructions (Embedded Light Stripe)

The cloud-shaped headboard features an embedded light stripe for ambient lighting.

• Power Connection: Locate the power cable for the light stripe, usually extending from the back of the headboard. Plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
