Operating Instructions
The bug zapper operates using both a UV light to attract insects and an optional LED light for illumination. The UV light function activates automatically when the device is plugged in.
- UV Light (Bug Zapping Function): Once plugged in, the internal UV light will illuminate, attracting flying insects to the high-voltage grid. This function is always active when the unit is powered.
- LED Light (Ambient Lighting): The bug zapper includes a bottom-mounted LED light. This light can be controlled using the provided remote control or the manual switch located on the top of the unit. Turn on the LED light at dusk or night to enhance the attracting effect on flying insects and provide additional ambient lighting.
