Installation of these headlights is designed to be plug-and-play, utilizing the existing wiring and connection points of your vehicle. No extensive modifications or drilling are typically required. However, professional installation is recommended to ensure correct alignment and functionality.

7.1 Pre-Installation Checks

  1. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and the battery is disconnected to prevent electrical shorts.
  2. Verify that the new headlights match the vehicle's model and year.
  3. Inspect the new headlights for any visible damage before beginning installation.

7.2 Removal of Old Headlights

  1. Locate and remove any retaining clips, screws, or bolts securing the original headlight assembly.
  2. Carefully pull the old headlight assembly forward to access the wiring harness.
  3. Disconnect all electrical connectors from the old headlight.
  4. Remove the old headlight assembly from the vehicle.

7.3 Installation of New Headlights

  1. Connect the electrical wiring harness of the new VLAND LED Headlight to the corresponding connectors on the vehicle. Ensure all connections are secure.
  2. Carefully slide the new headlight assembly into its mounting position.
  3. Secure the headlight assembly using the original retaining clips, screws, or bolts. Do not overtighten.
  4. Repeat the process for the other headlight.

7.4 Post-Installation Adjustment

After installation, reconnect the vehicle battery and test all lighting functions (DRL, low beam, high beam, turn signals, startup animation). Headlight aim may need adjustment for optimal visibility and to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. Use the vertical and horizontal adjusting screws located on the rear of the headlight assembly for fine-tuning.

The LED DRLs will illuminate automatically when the vehicle is running, providing increased visibility during daylight hours. These also function as parking lights when selected.

8.3 Sequential Turn Signals

When the turn signal lever is activated, the amber LEDs will illuminate in a sequential pattern, clearly indicating your intended turn or lane change.

8.4 LED Low Beam Lights

The LED low beams provide standard illumination for night driving, offering a clear and wide light pattern.
