3. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your laundry hamper. It is recommended to have a second person for easier assembly, though it can be done by one person.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage.
- Assemble the Metal Frame: Connect the vertical and horizontal metal bars using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure all connections are secure but do not overtighten initially.
- Attach the Top Shelf: Place the MDF top shelf panel onto the assembled metal frame. Secure it with the designated screws.
- Insert Laundry Bags: For each of the four fabric laundry bags, insert the plastic bottom panel to provide support and prevent sagging.
- Secure Bags to Frame: Attach each laundry bag to the metal frame using the hook-and-loop fasteners located at the top of each bag. Ensure they are securely fastened to the designated rails, allowing them to slide smoothly.
- Adjust Feet: Once assembled, place the hamper in its desired location. Adjust the four adjustable feet at the bottom of the frame to ensure stability on uneven surfaces.

4. Operating Instructions
The VASAGLE Laundry Hamper is designed for efficient laundry sorting and storage.
- Sorting Laundry: Utilize the four separate compartments to sort laundry by color, fabric type, or wash cycle (e.g., darks, lights, delicates, towels). Each bag has a capacity of approximately 10.6 gallons (40 L).
- Using the Top Shelf: The slatted MDF top shelf provides additional storage or display space. It is suitable for holding laundry detergents, fabric softeners, folded clean clothes, or decorative items. The slatted design promotes airflow.
- Removing Laundry Bags: When a bag is full or ready for washing, simply unfasten the hook-and-loop fasteners and lift the bag out. The integrated handles (formed by the metal frame within the bag) allow for easy transport to your washing machine.
