3. Setup

Proper setup ensures optimal performance and safety.

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the cooktop from its packaging. Inspect for any damage.
  2. Placement: Place the cooktop on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for proper ventilation (at least 4 inches from walls or other appliances).
  3. Power Connection: Plug the cooktop into a grounded 110V~120V AC electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your electric cooktop:

4.1 Power On/Off

  • To turn on, press the ON/OFF button. The display will light up.
  • To turn off, press the ON/OFF button again.

4.2 Adjusting Power and Temperature

  • After turning on, press the Power/Temp button to switch between power (W) and temperature (°F) modes.
  • Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the desired power level (200W to 1800W) or temperature (176°F to 510°F).

4.3 Timer Function

  • Press the Time button to activate the timer mode.
  • Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the cooking time from 1 minute to 4 hours (240 minutes).
  • The cooktop will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

4.4 Child Safety Lock

  • To activate the Child Safety Lock, press and hold the Kids Lock button for 2 seconds. The lock indicator will illuminate.
  • To deactivate, press and hold the Kids Lock button for 2 seconds again.

4.5 Cookware Compatibility

This electric cooktop is compatible with all types of flat-bottomed cookware, including iron, aluminum, ceramic, stainless steel, copper, and heat-resistant glass. Ensure the bottom of the cookware is flat for optimal heat transfer.
